Richards In?

Comments (16)

If The Guy Down At The Chip Shop Swears He's Seen Micah is correct and 2 + 2 = 5 then that's the post-Lescott, pre-Jags return back line sorted: Neville, Richards, Yobo, Baines.

But where do we put Neville when Jags gets back and Richards goes to full-back? Answers on a postcard to:

David Moyes,
Just In Time for the Red Shite Game,
Goodison Park etc.

I hope Joleon Lescott stays, for the quality of the team spirit, the quality of the team (we will still have no left sided centre back if we replace him with Micah Richards). Quality sides are built from the back and ’JLo’ is a huge part of the solid foundation of our team.

It is asking A LOT for Moyes to take the money and be able to buy a replacement as good as JLo.

Check out Leighton Baines’s comments yesterday on the OS... it would be a huge backward step to return to being a selling club by cashing in on Lescott, not least because it would impact negatively on the rest of the players that remain.

There’s only ONE JOLLY LESCOTT! COYB!

Is Lescott at the Scotland camp. And if not, why I may ask?

None of the players that were on international duty have travelled — to my knowledge. We really must stop making something out of nothing.

Saying that though, my mate’s dog’s girlfriend’s mum tunnelled underneath Goodison Park and when she got there she met Riquelme who told her he was joining the club and that Lescott would be joining Man City for 300 million sacks of spuds, Micah Richard's left boot and Jo’s pet cat.

Enough already please... I feel I’ve made my point?

We must keep Lescott unless Man City’s offer is so over the top.

I’d say £25m + Richards + Jo (loan). If City really want Lescott, then they will pay it as money is no problem, and we get an excellent deal.

Please Bill, make it all or nothing, no negotiations.

Unless City are prepared to pay £25 million then don’t bother contacting us. The sale, if it happens, will cut deeper than EFC realise, how will our other key players respond when they see players leaving for big money!!!!

This might be a mistake but Bluekipper are saying that Richards has signed for Everton.

If you look at his writeup on the Fishy In list, he gets 4 kippers but underneath it says "signed for Everton"

I have noticed that Anton Peterlin is below Richards on the site and it does not mention he has signed below his name. So from that I think that the signed is meaning Peterlin not Richards.

Say, Naughton looks a bit like Ossie (who was in Scotland), maybe mistaken Identity?

Now who looks like Micah Richards??

Sheffield United official site saying that fee agreed with Everton for Naughton — just up to the player to agree terms...

If Glen Johnson is worth £18million surely that rates Lescott at £25-30million?

Unless Lescott is desperate to leave that’s what we can demand. When it’s City you just add £10million to any price, they’ll pay it.
