..would be seen in the new away kit apart from the ladies?

That has to be THE worst Everton kit I've ever seen. Even worse than the yellow/black bumbleebee striped one from around 1997.

I like it, much better than the horrible home, which BTW is a way too light shade of blue.

I love It!! But then again I am a raving homosexual....... ok only joking. I would like to see how bright the pink stripes are in person first, but think it's a stupid idea to ruin a black away kit (which I always like) with pink!

My fiance will wear it and so will my 4-year-old son who worringly seems to like pink. But that's it.

It could be worse, it could be the Newcastle away — now that's funny!

I love it! Like it says on the OS, it has taken its colouring idea from the Blackwatch kit.

I am now torn as I really like the home shirt too (although I seem to be in the minority there!!).

You having a laugh or just blind? It is the worst kit I've ever seen, pink FFS! Fair enough Palermo, Benfica or even Barca’s away this season is pink or whatever ya want to call it, but this is taking the piss. A 5-year-old could come with that design, black polo with stripes... feeble.

The worst thing is our beloved crest has seemed to be drown in pink, why? The crest should never be changed colour — it's a crime. Its embarrassing.

Yes, it's only a kit, and the usual posts about only a kit blah blah, but still marketing opportunities have to be thought of; surely the club will be losing vast sums of revenue on poor sales as I can't see swarms of people arriving to Goodison with this bad boy on.

I gotta agree that this is the worst kit ever, a feckin pink badge for fuck's sake.

I really like the home one though, liked it when it came out and it’s grown on me even more since seeing the boys play in it.

It's not as bad as the pink 3rd kit we had a few years back (I remember them lining up away at Blackburn as we all laughed in embarrassment). The only thing I dislike is the badge in pink — that’s not on.

I agree with Sean, and it hasn’t been mentioned as yet, but the home kit is not the correct blue. It’s too light. The away kit is a disgrace, what's wrong with the luminous one from last season? What is the 3rd kit like does anyone know? Cus changing from blue into black isn’t much of a change...

No wonder young Kyle chose Tottenham.

I very much dislike BOTH of this seasons kits. I didn’t buy last seasons home shirt as it was similar to the previous seasons that I bought, so I bought the luminous yellow shirt which I use for a change top at 5-a-side.

There is NO WAY I will be buying either kits and I was very much looking forward to getting a new home strip this season.

The Home kit may be a grower but my current mind set is definitely against it.

The away kit is just laughable. Man Utd fans were upset with their home kit - I’d much prefer ours to look like that!

You might as well go the whole hog and put the word "chav" on the front. Maybe they’ll give away free colour matching base ball caps with it or a special gear knob for ya Citreaon Saxo.

For fuck's sake, why can’t we have a traditional yellow top with blue shorts?

The colour comes from our history (Blackwatch) we could have had a big pink stripe diagonally across it instead if you prefer???!!!

Hmm... wouldn’t wear it myself but it could further my plans to save my girlfriend’s niece from being red-manc brainwashed by her family.

The pink Everton romper suit went down ok considering she’s surronded by fans of the Salford Red Devil Soccer-Kickers. If it’s pink, it’s got a chance of being worn...

I don’t actually have a problem with the colour pink, but what makes this a truly horrendous football shirt in my opinion is as follows

1) The shade of pink. It's like one of those cheap neon marker pens

2) Making our badge pink. It’s like some toddler has got his hands on said marker pen and shaded in the badge on his dad’s shirt.

3) The ’Chang’ looks bloody ridiculous in stark white. I mean, If they had to change the colour of an 81-year-old Crest, why not go the whole hog and do the corporate logo as well? I guess this speaks volumes about where the club’s priorities lie.

4) It DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE A FOOTBALL KIT. Take away the badge and the Chang, and you have a Primark £3.50 Polo shirt fit only for the most scalliest of scallies.

5) Like the home shirt, it looks cheap and crappy and AARGH!!! IT'S JUST HORRIBLE!

The new away kit is horible, even worse than our new home kit. For the 1st season in years, I wont be buying a new shirt unless we have a 3rd one that's a lot better. I believe our kits to be in keeping with another summer of frustration and embarrassing our club. I am sure lots of women will wear it but can't imagine many locals wearing it.

Nobody seems to have mentioned the saying, quote, "It takes a MAN to wear pink!"

I’d go for it — the shirt, that is!There are a lot worse around — and I can see what they are trying to achieve regarding our history — is it the same salmon pink that the blues, nee pinks, used to wear?

The females will buy it in droves.

Very clever marketing, but I agree the badge should not have been pink.

Shorts look a bit long too, but that’s only a minor point.

Home Kit is a lighter shade of blue to mimic the 84-85 one which was the same shade. Don’t like the big white V much, but at least it’s unique and not identikit like last season.

I have to say... I like it. As a whole kit, because of the black shorts and socks, I think it works well.

Fucking hell, there some latent homosexual panic being expressed here as well as some dodgy knowledge of our history.

The kits are ok, both home and away. The first time we won the league we wore ruby red shirts with blue trim and blue shorts. The sash on the Black Watch strip was crimson or red — not pink. We also played in pink and white halves before the turn of the century too.

The blue on the current home strip is lighter than one we have worn of late but is nearer to the shade of blue worn in 85.
