John Ruddy

John Ruddy has joined Motherwell on loan for six months, with an option to buy, which suggests that we've decided Turner is a better option to keep at the club as third choice.

I have no faith in Turner which is a dissapointment as he was billed as having lots of potential. Whenver Turner is involved i fear the worst and expect him to move soon. As for Ruddy i was always impressed with him and reports of him but would wish him well in the future away from Goodison

Perhaps it’s because nobody wants to loan Turner from us - Motherwell have loaned our good reserve keeper.

Not really sure what happened with Turner as he had great time and was rated whilst out on loan but had shocker in "that Man U game", Ruddy I can’t admit to having had seen much of, keepers have the longest lifespan for players but you would have hoped at his age Turner would be showing true potential by now.

I think Iain Turner has showed potential. That clanger against Man U was a shame for him but I don’t think we can write him off just yet. He’s always been impressive when he’s gone out on loan.

Does anyone know of any other good young goalkeeping prospects we’ve got in our youth set up?

Im unsure whether or not it was his debut but if it was Ian Turner was also sent off against Blackburn in early 2006.

John Ruddy consequently came on and we won the game with 10 men and I thought he was excellent so why is Turner still on the books?!!!!!!

Surely he should be getting shipped out on loan or sold?
