Hibbo stopped the cross getting into either of the strikers or the players attacking the edge of the six yard box. There is no way the lad was trying to pick out the Korean fella. Someone in central midfield (either Rodwell or Fellaini) should have been tracking him running into the space.

Our defence has just rotted away this season. Last year they were top 1-2 in the Premier. Now when the ball comes across they are just ball watching half the time...and that’s if they can even find the ball.

Forget top 5 we’re heading towards bottom 5. This is an awful game between 2 awful teams. I know we have injuries but honestly the only ones who make a real differance are Arteta, Jas and Pienaar who will be at the ANC for a month or so soon enough anyway. I was glad to see Heitinga go off to be honest because he is rubbish. I know he’s knew but rubbish is rubbish and he is slow, can’t head, can’t turn and has no redeeming qualities. We should have thrown the Benfica game by playing even fewer pro’s than we did since it was obvious we’d lose anyway and kept folks fit for this one and the Spurs game which offers as a route to Europe but instead we lost Bily and Yak so now we head to Spurs with no hope.
