Team vs Spurs

Just heard we'll have late fitness tests on the walking wounded. Media are still reporting Yobo suffering with a head injury?
This would be my prefeered team if the fitness tests prove positive:
Howard
Neill Yobo Distin Baines
Bily Heitinga Rodwell Fellaini
Saha Jo
With Cahill and/or Yak to come on second half.
Should be good enough to get at least a draw.....?

Errr... do they actually do draws and replays in this competition any more? Or is it straight to extra time and then penalty shoot-outs (which I think we are actually getting better at... must update that page!). I should know but I've completely forgotten. Shameful, init.
Let's make this the Thread du Jour...
I see tonights game as an oppurtunity rather than a hinderance as winning it will get us to the latter stages of the Carling Cup and provide us with a platform to win the competition, thus securing European qualification for the fourth consecutive season. Considering Spurs injury problems (I know, I know...), I fancy us to win tonight. COYB
Jay
If we can put out a team something like that, I wouldnt be too discouraged .
As Ian has indicated, Spurs have their absentees too, particularly Lennon and King. I believe Kranjcar is also cup tied, so that evens things up a bit.
I have no idea if Harrys ambitions are higher or the same as Moyes’ ie does he see Tottenham as genuine contenders for a CL place? If so, he wont risk " borderline" players with niggles. I really hope we can do it tonight, it will be something of a small payback for all those terrific fans of ours who went to Lisbon!!!
Will be straight to extra time and then penalties, if no result.
Does anyone know why we are being forced to play tonight when we played on the Sunday? Is it just for TV scheduling?
Silly question probably!
Any links to tonights game?.....No signs of it on my p2p or iraq goals.
none of Baines,Yobo,Billy or Pienaar are in tonights squad. However, Yakubu may be fit enough to play.
Can’t seem to find any links for the game - perhaps it isn’t being broadcast anywhere?
Travelling squad for Spurs game -
Howard, Nash, Hibbert, Heitinga, Neill, Distin, Cahill, Fellaini, Rodwell, Gosling, Coleman, Jo, Yakubu, Saha, Baxter, Wallace, Akpan, Agard, Duffy.
So no Billy and no Yobo.
I imagine the team will be
Howard,
Neill, Heitinga, Distin, Hibbert,
Gosling, Fellaini, Rodwell, Cahill,
Jo, Saha
(Yak and Baxter to come off, Coleman if necessary).
I would like to see;
Howard
Neill, Heitinga, Distin, Coleman
Baxter, Rodwell, Cahill, Gosling
Saha, Yakubu.
I think that if we can change our habit of conceding first (as in recent games), then we stand a good chance of moving into the next round. This is a ground that can also be as intimidating as the Old Lady if we give them a sniff of an advantage. Good luck to the boys tonight.
I think I may have asked too late in the "Injuries" post, but I am curious to know when a teams season gets put on "hold" due to an excessive amount of absentees through injury. What’s the guidelines on this?
Anybody have any ideas on Pienaar’s injury and expected availability?
Can I echo that Alan and ask if anyone knows when Baines and Yobo are expected back too?
Gerry I thought it was a case of putting a special dispensation request to the FA to seek to sign replacement players for a position(s) should your entire cover for that position be injured such as your keeper. The players thus available would be journeymen surely?
Simple reason we are being asked to play tonight...There is another club in North London who is playing tomorrow evening (I forget who they are) and they are playing another club from Liverpool, whose name escapes me as well. The authorities think the other club from our area are made up of a bunch of thugs who can’t read or spell and they have to use all of their resources to keep an eye on them and can’t spare anyone to go to White Hart Lane the same night. Pity.
justin.tv, there’s a couple links on there.
I read somewhere earlier online today that Lennon wouldn’t be playing. If that is true, with a less threatening pressence on Spur’s right side wouldn’t that give more reason to allow Coleman to play on the left and let Neill sit in the middle dependant on Yobo’s fitness. I’d be worried that Pavlichenko would be trying to prove something to Redknapp and rather have Neill covering him.
The team is:
Howard, Neill, Heitinga, Distin, Hibbert, Gosling, Rodwell, Fellaini, Cahill, Saha, Yakubu
At least this time we have an experienced defence. However, we have a very inexperienced midfield where Cahill is the veteran. God help them/us. (We could use something ’divine’ on our side ...)
Looking at the Spurs team we shouldn't be afraid to have a go. Their hardly Barcelona and their bench ain't much stronger than ours!! May as well go for it when we have a few goalscorers on the pitch from the start!! And then start praying for a few extra bodies back for the weekend! Saha 1-0 me thinks. COYB!
I hope we don't try and play Cahill on the wing again... It never works.
Evening all, Not one bloody link anywhere.
I guess its radio then. Heres the link for BBC London.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/playlive/bbc_london/
If anyone gets a radio link which isnt going to be completely Spurs biased, post it please.
COYB
Would you believe it the only match coverage is Radio and radio Merseyside has just lost it!!!
Ok back now but adverts only.
It’s on FiveLive Sports Extra...
Off topic, but a quick question. Got the Everton direct catalogue today, and me and my little lad noticed that inside there were baby grows and kids pyjamas with the chang logo, and then Chang soda written under it. My little lad hates getting the kit with no logo on, so he asked why they couldn’t put Chang soda on the kids footy tops. Does anyone know if there is a reason why the club don’t do it?
Gavin, thanks, I was aware of something similar, but I remember one team at the start of a season (wasn’t it Blackburn?) who had so many ill, they ended up starting the season 6 or 7 matches behind.
Surely there would come a time in the not too distant future where we could claim a similar situation. I don’t want that to happen, but it would be interesting to know how close we are to this scenario.......
I have no idea Brian, but I bought my 2 year old the toddler pyjamas with Chang Soda on and he has that as his ’kit’. Much to the annoyance of my wife who hates the thought of me taking our son out dressed in his pj’s! I don’t know why they can’t put it on the actual replica kits as well. I mean, it’s only a voluntary code that Everton have signed upto anyway with regards to not having alcohol on the junior kits.
link for the games say’s it will start at 8

Nervous start ball given away by Cahill,Neill and Fellaini.
early pressure from spurs
Corner to Spurs.
Nervy start.
Yak fouled.
Free kick good position
A good start, Saha shot saved...
Off the wall.
Heittiga again!!
Throw in Saha acrobatic kick.
Gomes saved.
Looking better.
Corner to blues
How many freekicks is that now that Heitinga has taken and blasted straight into the wall? GRRRRRRRR!!!!
Jay, What link are you using??
Are you guys watching this or just listening to audio?
Yak fouled again.
headed away disappointing free kick from saha
Free kick does not beat the first man(Saha) it sonds like Spurs are trying to injure more of our players!
Keane and Pavyluchenko break forward messed up thank God.
Yak involved in quite a bit plays Gos in but it ran away from him.
anyone know the team line up?
There is radio coverage on 5 live sports extra: http://www.bbc.co.uk/5livesportsextra/commentaries/
forget it, see it above....
I just woke up here in oz.
fellaini foul again ref speaking to him
Fellaini been warned for a nothing tackle(apparentley)
11 mins Distin holding out well.
More pressure.
distin again.
Rooders to Gosling .
Saha to Rodders
Shot wide
Everton passing well when they keep it on the floor but final ball not there,.
The ustream radio link is great. Cheers Tom Winek
Pass just missed Pavluchenko.
Rodders break away but gived free kick away after losing it.
Free kick to EFC.Dawson climbing
Fairly even but Spurs more threatening.
Rodwell floats free kick in Cahill loses out to Gomes
Does anyone have some sort of tv link? Desperately looking for something. Please help?
Fellaini in trouble again.
If he escapes a yellow in this one it will be a miracle
Dave its not on TV try one of the radio links
Jay is your commentary coming from tv or radio? Please, someone help?
Pavlucjhenko almost scored.........sh...t
Rodders imposing himself well but Huttons also playing wel in MF
Same old story so far.
Possesion even but no threat from EFC
Free kick to blues.
wasted.
Pavluchenko nearly scores again from the breakaway.
Pressure from Distin put him off
Why is Hibbert playing left back again? He struggles has a right back but playing on the left he looks even worse. I thought Neill has played left back before and would have been more of a natural choice in the absence of Baines
I thought the same Adrian during the Bolton game.
Still end to end
Mistakes from both sides
Yak involved quite a bit
Sh Keane hit the post
Fucking Heitinga... Spurs seem so much more deadly than us.
Our lads are in great voice pity its not the same at home
AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Breakaway again
Huddlestone Bstds
argh....I’m going back to sleep.
Bentley seeing too much of the ball.
Why is Hibbo LB after Sundays debacle
Heitinga appears to be rather shit!
Why cant we hold out for more than 30 mins.
Hibbo yellow.
get Coleman on FFS
Good job we’ve got Distin
Jay Harris;
The reason is because this side we have out is nowhere near enough to be consistently competitive in the Premier League. Sad but true.
Why is Moyesy putting Hibbo through this.
he’s gonna give apenno away or get sent off.
I know Colemans inexperienced but Hibbo is never a LB he’s totally unbalanced.
Bentley almost score from the free kick.
Spurs lifted Blues deflated
I forgot Gosling was playing ...
Jay harris: Get Coleman on? Did you watch our last two games? He was completely out of his depth at Benfica, and for the third Bolton goal, he let the ball between his legs while blocking Howard’s view. And you would like to let Bentley run at him? Really?
Lee we should be good enough to keep a makeshift Spurs side out.
Against Tottenham’s second 11 as well!
Richard IMO its the best of 2 evils.
Did you see Hibbo at LB at Bolton!!
Hibbos getting torn apart by Bentley and Hutton
Jay, no we shouldn’t - given Spurs have spent about four times the amount we have on their whole squad. £15m on Bentley, £8m on Hutton etc.
We should be good enough to "compete" though.
Not sure how this is their 2nd eleven. We do go a bit over the top on here
Are we winning on corners? :-)
To bad we can’t make use of them
Poor corner from Rodders.
Could we not have Distin at left back?hibbert at right back and neill alongside mad Johnny at centre half!!
Poor corner again
Spurs breakaway
Colin thats a good point but Distin has been doing well in the middle.
Our main problem seems to be final balls.
Keane missed good chance again!!
Gotta be honest you know... this season has seen the worst form Tim Cahill has ever shown in an Everton shirt. Hope that knock he’s just taken isn’t serious though.
From the BBC forum :
"I love Man Utd formation tonight! It’s young it’s innovative it’s risky but so so beautiful. Thank you Sir Alex."
God I’m depressed.....
We need to sort LH side out.
Cahill and Hibbo not working but its still only 1-0 so we’re still in it.
Wheres our midfield. Im listening to it and where the fook is CAHILL! For christs sake do something Moyes
Cahill has been completely missing for the good part of two months Mark. He can’t play in a midfield four.
Trevor, it was a bit tongue in cheek mate. They are missing a few though, Woodgate, King, Crouch, defoe, Kranjcar, Lennon and Modric.
We were only 1-0 against Benfica.
Doomed I tellsya
Bentley in possession again
Rodwell cleared but hUTTON TAKES IT OFF sAHA.
HT
Need Moyes pep talk and reshuffle imo
Prediction: Moyesie will have figured out the weak link in Spurs and our boys will exploit that and score 3 in the first 5 minutes of the second half.
Or not.
Graeme Sharp sounds exasperated with our play...
He’s probably just very, very bored Andrew.
Fucking hell Lee, he has been asked lately to play as a right sided midfielder, and then on the left. We all know he is at his best playing just behind the striker.
Id love him to chip in with a goal but considering Moyes was saying about him tiring why the hell is he playing him. Hes not contributing. The lap top will go through the plasma if he notches a couple mind you! COYB
Brian, that’s why I said he can’t work in a midfield four - under any circumstances! He’s at his best as the most advanced of a five man midfield, or a second striker.
I have not seen the Dutchman have a good game yet. Hes wild, slow and reckless. He makes Graveson look sane
Sorry Lee, thought you were having a dig at him.
We’ve only got Jo Agard Baxter Wallace Coleman and Duffy on the bench so not much option to change.
Does anyone else recently get a feeling of utter dread whenever we emerge for a second half?
anyone else experiencing problems accessing any part of the bbc website?
Jo on, Saha off - not the best news...
Jo on for Saha.... Bollocks.
Oooooh... Cahill shot, saved from Gomes - eventually out for a corner for the Toffees.
Cahill shot on goal.
Corner
Good start from the blues
Lee, Andrew, it’s all part of Moyesie’s dastardly evil plan to confuse everybody.
I’m confused, so it must be working.
Lucas Neill now LB Hiibo rb
it looks as if Moyes has listened to us for once and moved hibbert back to right back and Niell on the left
Does anyone know the reason behind Saha being taken off? Maybe to play Jo on the left and cahill just behind Yak? Or is it another injury?
lol @ Heitinga apparently defending well!
Jo is due a goal.
Clutching at straws.
Russell - possibly a minor head injury, took a knock late on first half.
Bentley and Keane again
Good save from Howed
Why cant we create chances like that
Jo on???Fuck its time to throw on me Big Dunc dvd to cheer me up!!And knowing our luck Saha is probably out for a month..Give me strength!!
Why when we are on the break or attacking do we seem to take a fucking age to create a chance, Whereas every other team seem capable of doing the same thing - often better - in a fraction of the time?!?!
Robbie Keane badly injured by the sounds of it. Tony "Chopper" Hibbert the culprit.
Jay, are you watching the match???? We need to know.
Yak playing well again
brought Gosling in but he lost it
Keane breakaway
Good challenge from Hibbo
Much better on the right
Heittiga still not settled
Stephen
listening on Radio Merseyside.
No TV coverage due to Manure
Aiden, if we had pace we’d just get in trouble quicker!
Bentley and Hutton seem to be getting too much possession.
That’s what I thought, Jay, but your commentary is pretty good ...
Jo denied by Gomes. Horse bollocks.
Thanks Stephen
Nice build up from Everton
Jo nearly scored
Good stop from Gomes
Penalty Spurs...Distin brings down Keane.
Jesus fucking christ. We really are truly fucking shit. Pardon my french.
Howard SAVES!!! ... no take that back! Don’t know what the follow up was.. oh well...
I’m trying hard to not think about next season already!
Great save by Howard but chaos in defence and Spurs eventually scored again: 2-0.
Ah, well, time to give the kids some experience.
That just sums up October!!!
Harsh penalty apparently and chaos in defence after Howard saved.
Can't see us getting 2 against Spurs.
Cahill chance from the Yak but didn't connect properly.
Same old, same old.
Don't know why we think we could go on and win this competition before the game even began, with all the so-called ’big’ teams still in there and taking it seriously there is no way we could win it, even if we had won this game.
Totally depressed.
I’m just happy it’s not a loss in the league.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/playlive/bbc_london/
Bottom line is we're shit! Simple as.
I expect another defeat at home to Villa on Sat.
Maybe we should play 3 at the back and take a chance.
Pack the MF where we’re getting overrun.
Pisses me off that Blackburn and Portsmouth look like going through.
Thinking about these kids of ours.. I must admit I would have a lot more confidence of doing that had we not pretty much almost almost every reserve game this season... doesnt’ auger well for them coming through...
Shame Kenwright can’t pick up an injury.
Three crappy defeats in six days.
This sucks.
Moyes must be running out of excuses.
Somebody told me today Everton were just three points off Hull and the relegation zone.
Is this the lowest point of the Moyes era?
WANK WANK WANK WANK WANK WANK!
Dare I say we turning into a soft touch. Until Jags comes back, we’re struggling defensively! Just not good enough. We’re a mediocre mid-table outfit on the slide.
Fukin ell boys
25 mins left, keep believin.
The negativity is shockin on ere. Yes, we have half a squad but lets get sum balls ffs
Dick, Moyes doesn’t have to make up the excuses, he has a lot of our fans to do that for him.
Dick,
Did you need someone to tell you that?
Don't you just look at the table anyway?
Mark Ramshaw
Are we a midtable side?
3 points off the relegation zone suggests we are worse then that.
Aston Villa next and then Benfica again.
Makes you wonder how long this losing streak is going to last?
A midtable team sounds good right about now. I fear we are becoming a relegation threatened side.
I agree Sean, moan moan moan is that all you people come on here for ? Yes this looks like a third stright defeat, but 1) Yobo has been missing from the last few games, therefore that unsettles the defence; 2) we do not have players on the bench able to come on to change a game due to the amount of injuries we have; and 3) stop being so negative, we are only a few wins away from the top 6.
Fuck it, throw Baxter and Agard on.
Cmon Everton,
Pride, passion and belief
We are shit to watch and shit to listen to on the radio.
Sorry boys I’m losing interest in the commentary I guess the players feel the same.
The thing thats worrying me most lately is that for the first time Moyes is blaming the players via the media and insinuating he hasnt been backed by the board.
Sends out the wrong signals IMO.
Well said, Ian.
It's obvious lads that we have no creativity, so these games were always gonna be tough.
When Arteta, Pienaar an Bily are back, we will destroy...
Trevor Williams
To be honest mate I’ve tried to avoid the table so far this season.
Its like a bald spot, you know its happening but if you don’t see it, you can convince yourself it's not that bad.
Get a grip please. We have had a couple of bad defeats yes but lets be realistic.
At least the commentator is still optimistic.
Hibbo great tackle on Keane as he's about to pull the trigger.
Spurs corner.
Hibbo doing much better at RB.
Back to G+T’s
Pavlyuchenko almost made it three.
Callum - Pride, passion and belief? Three things that our players seem to be lacking.
And to think some of our fans thought our shambolic summer transfer policy was good.
Kenwright & Moyes wrecked our season before it began. Yes, we have injuries; however, the 2 key players were already on long-term injuries. Rather than get good players in, we look for versatile master-of-none players in.
In the summer we needed a new right back, cover at left back, Powerful ball winner in midfield and a pacey winger. We got none of those and lost Lescott. Still we can still choose to live in the fantasy land some do were they beleive we will come good like last season.
Game seems to be dying off now.
No captains on the pitch despite Moyes claims.
Yak and Neill on the attack but robbed; Spurs breakaway.
Let's be honest, Moyes has never been the same since the FA Cup final defeat.
We didn’t know it at the time but that game was the end of his era.
He spent the summer failing to buy any new players, made 3 rush signings after Lescott left, and then has failed to inspire the team so far this season.
This spell has got to be the worst under Moyes and I wonder how long before he gives up and walks away?
Bentley cross again.
Cahill booked after ball had gone challenge on Bentley.
That figures... It couldn't have been before the ball went.
Unless he’s promised something daft like £20-30m in the Summer, and given it early, then this is Moyes’s last season with Everton — convinced of it.
Not sure whether that’s a bad thing or not.
We are so poor. I will take losing but I wont take giving up.
Got the Man U game on TV whilst listening to the radio (you can tell the wife’s out) and some Barnsley fan has jun ran onto the field, took the ball off Foster and put it in the United net.
Perhaps we should sign him.
Distin must feel its like ww3 having to nursemaid Heitinga and under siege for much of the game.
Bentley again...
Why couldn't somebody have put him in the stands earlier?
Why no subs?
We’ve got Villa Sat and the game is lost...
Would be nice to see Baxter for the last 10 mins.
So not only do we get knocked out but our players are going to be tired for Villa at the weekend... should have cut our losses and played the academy team.
Bentley involved again...
Spurs on the move...
Bentley shoots...
GK.
Baxter on, That would mean trying something different and goes against safety 1st policy employed at the club. Let's play players out of position before trying someone young.
Everton really suck this season.
It's been a few years since I’ve said that but there’s no denying it now.
I thought Moyes had ended our years as a struggling team.
I honestly believed that the relegation fight days were over and would never return under Moyes.
I was convinced Moyes had made us a genuine Top 6 side.
Not so sure on any of that anymore.
Dont know why Moyes hasn't put some of the young guys on... Maybe he’s gone home.
You can forget about Kenwright sacking Moyes. It ain't gonna happen. Probably the only thing Kenwright will, and is doing right. Can anybody tell me who would take the Everton manager's job anyway. Nobody would put up with the shit Moyes has had to put up with.
What the fuck is Jo diving for?
Rodwell involved first time he is mentioned in the second half.
Confidence is going to be shattered after recent events.
Just hope that loan Billy boy has taken out is for new players.
Jo dives in the box when clear through from Felli...
Enough said!
Moyes can’t be blamed for the injuries, but considering the players that are out we’re still fielding a very good side who should be able to beat the majority of teams or at least maintain possession for more than 10 seconds
Hibbo to the rescue again.
I’m concerned that teams might start to see us as there for the taking, that if they really go for it they’ll get a hatful against us. My biggest worry though is that it looks like some of our players are already starting to believe it. I’m not being overly pessimistic or negative, and I know all about our injuries, when I say that our desire really seems to be lacking. It looks like not only have they forgotten how to win, they’ve forgotten how to fight as well, the shower of cunts.
Huddlestone over the bar.
Players tired... only 5 minutes to go.
I’m not normally this pessimistic but it's all over.
There is one thing to be thankful for, that they never had Lennon and Defoe available.
Bale... Howard saved; Spurs corner.
We didn't have cover at left back at the end of last season, all we had was players who could fill in their and Lescott who hated it and was already rumoured to be off. So what do we do? Just pray Baines doesn't get injured instead of signing cover.
Well in Moyes, great preparation by you this summer. There musn't have been any left backs on free transfers or loans before we got the Lescott money even then you didn't address the problem.
Yak, poor control...
Would have been in on goal.
Guess the disease is spreading...
3 mins to go.
John Martin,
In fairness I have to agree in playing players out of position rather then using a bunch of mediocre youngsters.
Let's be fair, Baxter is a pot head out on bail. What talent he had at a younger age looks to have been wasted.
Agard couldn’t make it at Aresnal and hasn’t improved any at Everton.
Shane Duffy is the next Peter Clarke. Highly tipped but unlikely to get more then half-a-dozen appearances.
Seamus Coleman has made a horrible start to his Everton career.
Hardly anything is known about James Wallace. He’s a bigger enigma then John Paul Kissock.
Hope Akpan? Our only hope maybe?
It's all over now, Baby Blue.
Feel so sorry for all the lads that went.
I'm signing off, boys.
I'm now totally deflated.
We had Valente last season...
Sharpy sounds as pissed off as most of us.... I’m amazed that he manages not to swear whilst commentating on these useless fuckwits.
Moyes signed his contract knowing full well there would be fuck all money, so he can hardly start fucking moaning about it, instead he has to sell to buy which means he signs versatile jack of all trades, master of none type players, which means we have a team full of cart horses who will work hard. Nothing will change until the useless coward kenwright is removed, but it looks like it will be too late by then.
Majority of fans are happy to finish in the top ten and treat that as a good season which gives Kenwright and Co carte blanche to do what he pleases without protest. I can see our fans coming on Saturday night saying, "I know we've lost four games and not won in seven games, but we've got injuries, Kenwright is a blue, he got rid of Johnson"
Fucking utterly depressed with the whole club.
We’re improving, it was only 2 today.
Something to build on eh?
We don't know the full facts yet about Baxter but if they never get a chance we will never know, We have in the past let players go and they have gone on to decent careers. Daniel Fox was let go a decent left back who we could certainly do with now as cover. Our summer shambles will haunt us big time this season.
I foresee yet another defeat on Saturday... unless Pienaar, Yobo & Baines are back. Then we might get a draw!
Cheers for the updates, Jay mate.
3 defeats in 6 days.
What a fucking shit week.
I’m advocating this but it’s an unhappy ship at Celtic so what price a pissed-off Moyes in for Mowbray?
I have Warnock, Milner and Agbonlohor in my fantasy team, so Warnock better keep a clean sheet, Milner better assist a few and Agbonlohor bang in a few :)
They’ve just shown the goals on Sky Sports News and FFS Howard saves the penalty, there’s 6 Everton players in the box, Howard saves again, Howard saves AGAIN, and Keane one of 2 Spurs players) smacks it into the goal.
Fucking Awful.
No surprise to see us surrender so meekly.
Everton are like Amy Winehouse’s new tits.
They look good on paper but you just know you're in for disappointment.
Surely Saturday is the time to play 5 in midfield, with Cahill doing what he does best, playing behind the Saha. Having him on the right and then the left hand side of midfield is a joke.
I now the injuries will be brought up, but it would make more sense to have the like of Jo playing as a wide player, he couldn’t do any worse than Cahill has.

Buggery bollocks... is it even worth bothering with a post-match thread? Anyone want to write something intelligent into the mailbag???
Michael Kenrick
Dont bother too much with the post match thread.
Just copy all the comments from the Benfica and Bolton defeats and paste them into the new Spurs thread.
3 defeats in 6 days. Is there anything new we can say at this point?
DNP:[MK] Well that's our season over. Why didn't the spineless wonder throw on Agard and Baxter, even if it was just to save legs for the Villa game? He's a total fucking shambles and him and Talkshite have got to go!
I spoke to Moyes at the end of the season when Big Dunc left and told him to his face and Irvine, that they were totally inept and fucking useless and I would make a better manager than them, and I know fuck all.
Were in serious trouble now and anyone out there who thinks were not is deluded by the shite we are fed by the everton spin doctors.
Please if you care for are club get them out BK DM RE PG RE, WERE A FUCKIN JOKE .
I never renewed my season ticket in the lounge this year due to my own problems but ive sponsored players shirts and spent £20k over the last couple of years puttin up with this shite and ive had countless arguments with BK over DK and with his fuckin cronies and daft supprters, ie Derrick Hatton who thinks DK is a good option.
We are EVERTON, not Wigan or Pompey or Blackburn or whoever please fellow evertonians come together now and get them out or we will be playin championship football if not this year then next. in a shite stadium in the middle of no-were.
Are time is now or we will only have ourselves to blame .
Anyone interested in making a protest at the next home game please contact me threw this site!
Michael can you let this go out please i know i havent gained your approval yet but this is bigger than me or you, and i havnt called Kenwrigt a twat.
We were probably hoping for a bit more after the late loss against Bolton but when you're down, you're down and people keep kicking you. Seems when the chips are down with other clubs they find a good spirit and get a result or two but when it’s Everton — nothing doing.
Moyes just doesn’t seem to be inspirational anymore. If it’s not him then it must be that the squad is just not good enough, plain and simple... and remember, he built the squad.
Villa on Saturday is now so crucial for Moyes's future. There can only be so many injury excuses used... and eventually the axe must fall before the season falls apart.
One recurring theme of this site is how Neville should be replaced as captain. Now he is out injured, I think people will finally realise how big a role he plays in the team. We have no fight, no leadership. Cahill has been mentioned a few times to replace him and has shown he is not a captain in the 2 games he has done it. Get well soon, Phil — your club neds you.
John Martin, I dont think thats true. We were doing great when Neville was out of the team, but losing Pienaar and now Bily were the last straws because now we have NO creativity whatsoever, no one who can make a pass, no one LOOKING for a pass, and so we can’t keep possession and are always on the backfoot
Fuck this. That’s it! I’m going over to the OTHER side to watch a decent game of football. We should ALL do the same.
COY Everton Ladies!!
Jimmy, the team is lacking in leadership right now. That's what Neville gives us, the games you talk about us playing great were Blackburn, AEK Athens & Hull, hardly the best opposition in the world. Portsmouth should have hammered us and when we have played 2 good teams in the last 3 matches we have got battered by them. We lack creativity, yes, but that's not going to stop us conceding or teams walking through our midfield.
Thanks for the comments lads.
It was a painful privilege if you understand.
The thing that I find most worrying is that for the first time I’m seeing cracks in Moyes's confidence.
HE’ STARTING TO CRITICISE THE PLAYERS AND THE BOARD THROUGH THE MEDIA and is disassociating himself with the performances and player availability. That is not a good sign.
Let's hope the loan Billy Bullshit took out is for players in January and not DK.
That would see me off altogether.
John,
Please don’t put this down to the lack of Neville.
That’s a reactionary and illogical remark.
