Going Gago...

Comments (6)

I know it's silly season but I think this deal could happen. Firstly, Gago is not getting a look-in this year; it's World Cup year and every player needs to be playing first team footie, Madrid want cut there wage bill buy selling some fringe players.

It could well be a loan view move, then a buy clause in the summer. I watch a lot of Spanish football; last year, Gago was excellent, great passing breaks up play with a cracking strike on him. Mmmm just what we need eh?

What do Evertonians feel about getting gago in? Anyone got any inside information? Come on, Bill — get the cash out!

Moyes has admitted he is looking for another two loans so could be anyone, with the distinct lack of cash the club still need to take into account wages for the loan period. Anyone’s guess I suppose but straight away you can cut out Galacticos on massive salaries. I hope more than that we can start climbing up the table now, especially after the RS got pumped again today... Christ, imagine finishing above that lot again!

I have not seen him much, the two games I remember most were the two games v the RS last season and he was rubbish. On those performances, he’s not what we need.

Signed among much fanfare for Real a couple of years ago, but he has really failed to make a mark in Spanish football (albeit with a circus team a la Man City du jour). Has undoubted ability and would fit in with our "ethic"... although if he fancies the move is another thing.

I know we don’t have much money but would much prefer Scot Parker from the Hammers if we could raise the cash as he would not need the time to adapt to the EPL like Bily.

Highly doubt it. His wages will be on a whole different level to our players.

James S, that's what has me thinking he/they will be from a European league and not small wages in comparison to any well known players. The massive teams have plenty of splinter catchers as they all have squads, we can’t afford them.
