Am I the only one outraged by the fact that Everton must await the outcome of the Liverpool v Reading replay before we know the date of our FA Cup 4th round tie?
We are through to the fourth round, Liverpool are not. We should take precedence for the Saturday KO, not them.
Why on earth are fans being forced to wait to make travel arrangements etc, and the club having to wait to finalise match arrangements when we could go ahead now?
This is typical of the ongoing bias that keeps "The Big Four" as The Big Four, come what may.
Or am I missing something?

Why do we have to switch the 4th round FA cup tie to Sunday to accomodate Liverpool? (If they beat Reading) otherwise we can play it on the Sunday. It's like the European game switch last month. Do they always take priority over us or is it decided by tossing a coin or something?
Make your travel arrangements etc for the Sunday fixture and remember that, if you have to re-arrange to accommodate the Saturday fixture, it’s because that shower of shite have been knocked out.

No bias lads. The reason why the shite get the Saturday kick-off if they get through, is because they also have to play away to Wolves on the Tuesday night.
Also meant to say, that is why the FA are waiting for the outcome of the shite's replay; they get knocked out, we then get the saturday kick-off.
It’s to do with the TV. Sky/ITV have to wait for the outcome of the replays before they carve up the fixtures for the 4th round weekend.
Brian, I don’t see what this has do with Everton’s kick off time/day. We played Bolton away on a Sunday then Spurs away on a Tuesday, so maybe a little bit of bias to the shite.
We might be getting this Saturday off, too — the Gooners’ game against Bolton tonight is off due to unsafe conditions around the ground while weathermen say ’there’s more on the way’.

Lee, I think you have to recognize that the football authorities try not to schedule fixtures less than three days apart. The situation you refer to, that got David Moyes so aggrieved, was probably avoidable.
The arrangements for playing these local 4th Round games, however, seem reasonable in the circumstances.
Surely the team who is already through should be on the Saturday.
Probably has something to do with the foreigners coming in on plane and ferry, you should see the Irish ferry on Saturdays when it lands in Birkenhead, it’s like a Doctor Fun convention as they march to Woodside train station.
I think there are plenty of things for us to moan about when it comes to the way we’re treated in comparison to Liverpool. The European situation is one, our having to play Sunday then Tuesday is another, however, in this case, if the Tuesday Wolves game was pre-scheduled, I can see why it's obvious we should move and not them. I say save it and pick your battles, and I think Gary Creaney’s got the right attitude.
