There's a report in the Oslo Aftenposten that the leftback at Molde Fc is in negotiations. Reports in the paper are that Knut Olav Rinderøy is to fly over tomorrow to have talks. Rinderøy has been in the national team on and off for the past year. He has only 6 months left on his contract. The club has confirmed that he will travel to the UK tomorrow. They want 1 - 1.5 million and have apparently already got a replacement.

According to the Norwegian tabloids, full back Knut Olav Rindarøy is on the way to Everton for a trial run this week, but his agent says we are not the only club interested... so I suppose we can forget about it. Probably end up at Spurs like the rest.
Norwegian papers are carrying a story saying Knut Olav Rindarøy is on his way to Everton. He is a left-back playing for Molde and has just broken into the Norwegian national team. He had a really good season in the Norwegian league last year, but he is not really a household name yet. Perhaps it is meant to put a bit of pressure on Baines? Fee of GBP 1.0-1.5 mln touted - appears reasonable for a 24-yr old entering the international stage. He will be visiting from Tuesday to Thursday.
Rindaroey is a full-back playing in Norway's national side. Not PL quality though, actually far from.

As stated in this link we are negotiating for norwegian left back Knut Olav Rindarøy who plays for Molde FK. The report is from a reliableNorwegian newspaper.
This guy made his Norway debut not too long ago and could possibly be moving for a fee around £1M - £1½M according to this article.
Far from a done deal of course, but it say Everton has been tracking him since this summer and that he's flying in for some talks this week.
Not a fantastic WOW signing if he comes aboard, but a steady player that will leave us some cover behind Baines. At such a price, I'd say give it a go.
Why would a young international want to warm bench... Not saying he’s not going to light the PL on fire but he’d have to know he’d come here for the bench... I guess it’d be the wages then. Anyway Distin at leftback is scary so I’ll take it.
On the other note, Yobo is out until the summer.
Can any of our Norway-based fans can shed any light on him as I have never heard of him?
Looks like some cover for Baines. Basically, we give up a right/center back (Neill) and get a left back. Seems alright to me since we really don’t have anyone other than Baines with experience there.

Hi, I am a Molde fan from Norway and wanted to share some info about the great left back, Rindarøy. His strongest points are definetely accelration and pace, it is extreme. He has also become a smart defender, with good positional skills. But he still needs the improve his crosses and dribbles.
He was brilliant for Molde in the 2009- season, but it is a huge gap from the Norwegian league to the Premier League. However, I think he will manage good. Mame Biram Diouf (also former Molde player, now Man Utd) seems to have taken the step, so it is absolutely possible.
(I hope my English is not unreadable.)
Good information Bjarne...
How much money did Molde get from Man Utd for Diouf? Was it a fair deal? What do you think Molde FC would expect for Rindarøy?
In general, would you say Molde fans are happy with these transfers?
Also in the rumour mill is Jason Beckford any relation to Jermaine Beckford?

Alex:
Molde got around £5mill for Diouf, whilst the sum touted for Rindarøy is £1-£1.5mill
Me, I’m not a Molde fan, and I’m a bit of a fence-sitter on this one.
Strong points:
1 Pace (more than Bainesy)
2. Ability to overlap wide midfielder.
3. Passing ability.
A bit unconvinced about his defensive qualities at a higher level. Inconsistent crosses.
Like Øystein, I'm a bit of a fence-sitter on this one. But, I like Moyes's efforts to bring in players with more speed as I see that as a major shortcoming in the team.
Almost forgot! I bet Moyes also see him as a back-up in wide midfield.
Knut’s in — maybe? Cover for Baines is an obvious gap in our squad, so let’s hope it works out.
Pacy and good going forward — in need of a bit of coaching? Sounds a bit like Seamus when he arrived, and he looks ready now.
Sounds like a reasonable cover for Baines. At 24 years old and, maybe, reasonable wages, I don’t think we have a lot to lose on this one.
Has to be an astute bit of business; we have no cover at left back and if Baines is having a mare/gets injured we have no-one to replace him. Competition for a place is good for both players, makes them give more to ensure they keep/win the shirt. Price touted also seem reasonable.
Cover at left back can only be a good thing I would have thought. It’s a definite area of the squad that need’s to be strengthened and if he’s pacy, young and the above price is correct – as per Wilson – we don’t have anything to lose.
If he turns out to be another one of Moyes's low-key signings we may have a bargain and if he doesn’t work out then it’s only a small fee. Seems to be a win-win really… let's see if anything more develops.
Off topic but I just found a link to Fellainis ’Zidane turn’ against Bellamy. Crackin

I would say that Molde supporters in general are happy with these transfers. We are a small club, and need money from transfers (even though our economy is good at the moment). It is also good that we sell players to the Premier League, because it makes Molde more attractive for other players. We also got a replacement at the left back, so I think we will manage well.
Stan,
I think you’ll find that Zidane did a Fellaini turn...
Bjarne, your English is fine mate, better than some of the English people who come on here.
Havard says he’s not good enough though, Bjarne makes him sound like a left-sided Tony Hibbert, and then Tore says he’s good at overlapping and could play midfield.
I’m confused.
