Loans R Us

In debt, and it feels like there's no way out?... simply consolidate your transfer wish-list into one easily affordable loan.
It does sum up a lot of our transfer windows! What I was wondering, is if anyone knows the kind of deals we make when loaning a player? I can only guess, but I assume we pay the lions share of the player's wages while he's with us, and in most cases, have agreed a fee at the very start (if we wish to sign him on a perminent contract). I also assume there is some kind of initial 'good will' fee on most loans, and of course a few squid thrown at the odd agent.
Can anyone clarify what goes on financially with regard to loaning players?

Rumour has it, and it is somewhat confirmed by our requests to City, that Jo was signed without a loan fee or payment of any wages. We had to ask City to impose the recent fine against him. It shows Moyes’s disdain for the player that he let a "free" wageless player leave before the contract was up. I imagine that the reason Jo was "free" was that he was in someway linked to the "£22m" we "received" for Lescott. I wonder how much we actually did get for that transfer.
Thanks Steve, I guess it can vary, depending on whether the deal is considered more beneficial to the lender or borrower.
Looking forward to the Brum game tomorrow... it seems the new found confidence from the players is rubbing of on us fans.
So lets cash in our chips and sell them. Then have a look at what we can purchase with the proceeds — two new signings which would apparently keep some fans happy. Suggestions Nick?
Any manager in the land would be delighted to have Arteta back after a year out. To the coach, he is like a new signing only better, because he’s already part of the club.
If EFC claims that the returning players are like new signings, they should simply be more honest and say there is no more money left. Moyes says this. If the club, BB or the OS use the ’like a new signing’ line, let’s nail them then.
Being a ’small club’, in terms of debt that is, I would be surprised if they don’t go along with the new financial honesty we are seeing.
What would you rather have him do? Sign every player that moves like Arry Boy does and bring the club to bankruptsy?

As for Huntelaar, Football365 have picked up on it too
Klaas Jan Huntelaar is looking at getting more game time with one eye on the world cup. The Italian club would be willing to hire him to EFC for 6 months.
The Telegraph knows that negotiations between Milan and Everton are already underway about a temporary transfer.
Milan, where Huntelaar rarely plays don’t want to sell him permanently and see a loan deal as a good solution.
Everton, where former Ajaxer Heitinga is under contract is looking for a new striker after losing Jo due to a bust up with manager David Moyes.
Another Telegraph article also mentions that 6 clubs have contacted his agent about a possible move, Shaktar Donesk being the only one mentioned other than Everton although it’s said he left their enquiry unanswered as he doesn’t fancy the Ukraine, Also says he doesn’t want a return to his native Holland. Says he speaks German and English and can get by in Spanish and Italian and has a preference for these top 4 leagues. He is quoted as saying that he has now become second choice striker at Milan but is unsure if this is enough to get the game time required by the national coach to make selection for the WK.
