Scott Dann

After watching both games against Birmingham, I was impressed by their central defenders, Johnson and Dann, they looked solid.

Scott Dann, an Evertonian from Kirkdale, age 22. I hear from someone who knows the family, that he would love to play for his beloved Everton. Maybe a good replacement for Lescott. Food for thought....

I’ve been hugely impressed with the Brummie defence during our two recent games with the but Scott Dann ain’t an Evertonian, he said in an interview in Friday's Echo he’s a boyhood Kopite.

It’s quite funny how, when a footballer has a good game against us, we start to think of them as potential replacements for who we already have. We have Jags, Heitinga and Yobo, along with Distin, now Senderos. Neville and it seems Hibbert can also cover and, let's not forget, most people seem to think Rodwell will be the next Ferdinand (I don’t mean a doped-up injury-prone horsefaced twat (allegedly)) — even Rodders himself.

If ths lad was so good, we would have heard about him long before now, they are in a rich vein of form and let's not forget we had similar runs when our back 4 was Hibbert, Old Stubbs, Old Weir and Pistone (who plays his 150th Everton game, the next time he plays... lol).

Colin, whoever said that to you is lying. He’s a big Liverpool fan.

As for signing him, we don't need another centre-half. We need a left-back and a striker because Saha looks like he is on his way. That is where our priorities should lie.

Well we have Jagielka & Heitinga then not much else.

Yobo, Distin & now Senderos. Terrible players.

Tony, I think anyone could be Jar Jar Binks’ replacement at the moment, always thought he was one of the most overated defenders in the EPL.

I also don’t think that the team supported as a lad means jack shit most of the time; our scorer at the weekend past Birmingham, Osman, was a boyhood RS.

Us, the RS or Tranmere bleedin’ Rovers, makes no odds. The days when we could cherry-pick and decide who we would like to sign are long, long gone.

Why the fuck would he leave them and come to us.....?!?!?!? We’re in no-better a position than they are — both skint and shite with no prospect and possibility of winning the league ever again.....

He’s a red anyway......

Scott's a Liverpool supporter, like his father Richie, who in his day was a commanding centre half for the A One amateur football team based in Kirkdale. His uncle, Joey a very good friend of mine right through my school days, was an excellent footballer who was also a centre half. Scott's a credit to his parents, a lovely family.
