Month of Death

February's fixtures look like the FA & Uefa have deliberately conjured up a fixture list to test any team. If we come out of February still in the Europa League and with at least 4 points in the bag, we would have done well.
Any predictions?

The game against RS can be won. We are full strength nearly and they are not. But the refs often make bad decisions in these games so it is never quite a decent reflection of where we are.
Chelsea at home will be tough as usually we do better at Stamford Bridge. That could be a defeat as they are going to have to improve on recent displays unless the Terry thing spirals out of control and we catch them at a weak point.
Physically we should be able to bully Lisbon but have to hope our players and Moyes are not outwitted by European veterans. Maybe a tight win here?
Manure at home? They’re heavily reliant on Rooney so if he can be stopped then there is a chance. But again, dodgy refereeing decisions and Everton too often pressing self-destruct against the Reds does not bode well. A point would be decent.
Lisbon away — will have to be tight but with Arteta perhaps more acclimatised then this could be an away draw.
Spurs away. Three wins on the bounce in the league at WHL and you would think this is a good bet for 3 points. But coming so soon after the match in Lisbon, they might well pick us off. Tight away defeat.
But after losing silly points against the likes of Birmingham, Wolves and Stoke, we now must go out and beat some of the above to compensate.
This isn’t too different to January last year wth five games vs top 4 sides... What would I like? To close in on the RS...
We are currently second on the form guide behind Chelsea. It will be a challenging month but we are playing as well as anyone and we can win any of these games.
Come on Brian...4 points out of the next twelve? With that kind of attitude, you’d think we were Burnley.
I’ll take 7. Not 6.

Alrite lads... we are the Everton! The Month of Death yer talking about, we're on form... let's aim for maxium points off the lot of them.
Who are they?? We are EVERTON, let's kill them all!
It can be done, nobody wants to play us now, no way, nobody... let's all stick together and roar the blues on!
My mate's a gunner and he is backing us to finish 4th... ya may laugh but WE ARE THE EVERTON!
IN MOYES WE TRUST, COYB... COME ON!

I wouldn’t underestimate those jammy fuckers next week. They’re shite but they’re also evil.
Andrew, In your comment you made reference twice to the guy in control, the ref. And next week's match will be crucial, we have suffered from poor refereeing in past derby’s and as long as we get our game together, we will just have to hope that the ref is up to it as well...
Referees? We suffered again yesterday but when I saw who the ref was to be I can’t say I’m surprised.
Alan "Watch him" Wiley.
If you want to be in the Premier League and want to be in Europe, then you have to expect a tough fixture list, and at least we’re getting players back that are relatively fresh, what would you prefer a February fixture list of Scunthorpe, Wrexham, West Brom??
As it was Ray, Alan Wiley was replaced for some reason or other, by Lee Probert.
I think I want us to win next Saturday more than any time in years. Does anyone else look at the league table and almost think that someone is giving Liverpool sneaky extra points? They are utter shite but sit a point off the top four. They have an appalling manager, a team filled with cheats and, my God, how wonderful it would be to revenge the theft of the last game.
I feel as though the game on Saturday could be vital for the month, and indeed the season. 3 points would be a huge boost and I’ve a feeling Tim Cahill might be the man to get us them. He’s had his critics this season, I’ve been one of them. So it’s only fair to say he has been much much better just recently, and his goal on Saturday was a thing of beauty.
