Fulham (A) - what next for Moyes?

With the weekend approaching, and our desire to get 3 points from the game against Fulham higher than ever ? Fulham themselves are without strikers AJ, Zamora and the impressive Dembele all out injured - the pressure is on Moyes... ok well, from us fans and himself should he believe his post match interview ?that he his has been worried for some time?...
What team should we deploy? I would play:
Timmy Hibbert ? Jags ? Heitinga ? Baines Neville (C)- Fellaini Bily ? Arteta ? Pienaar The YakI think Bily needs a run of games to get things going. I know my team is without Coleman, but he was pretty exposed against Brentford as RB, so I?d have him on the bench and swap him for Bily should that not work out... Ossie, he needs a break.
I know Moyes will play:
Timmy Hibbert ? Jags ? Distin ? Baines Osman ? Heitinga ? Arteta ? Pienaar Cahill (C)(if fit otherwise- Fellaini) The Yak

OS says that Ossie may be out with a rib injury and that Hibbo probably wont play. Looks like we may see a bit of pace and/or endeavour on that right wing!
I agree with your starting line up Thomas. If Hibbo and Ossie aren't fit, Nev to play right back and sadly, Distin to play centre half meaning Heitinga painfully pushed up into midfield.
I'm certainly in favour of the two holding midfield players allowing the 3 midfielders further up supporting a striker.

Can't see beyond a 2-0 defeat. If he goes two up top and attacks from the off who knows ........ but he won't!
Fulham in my book are there for the taking without their two best strikers, Dembele and Zamora; if jags can put Gera in his pocket then we could nick it!
Agree with Dave Lynch there..... nobody is capable of second guessing Davey Moyes anyway........ but, FWIW, whenever I get I try it I'm always way off.... so may as well get it wrong in style:

Need to either put Johhny in the back four or on the bench, he should be nowhere near midfield.

Dave @ 7 you've got Baines & Hibbo on the wrong side, they'll only telegraph cutting inside to shoot, it's obvious, everything else is ok, nice one.

Daniel # 13 agree with team apart from Bily. If Cahill fit would put him just behind or up with Yak
If Cahill is not fit I think Moyes should have recalled Vaughan because he's more of a handful than Beckford and we need 2 strikers. I'd play Heitinga and Jags because they are our best centre halves as we never keep a clean sheet when Distin plays. I also think Gueye deserves another chance as he is a natural left footer with a good delivery and pace, something Osman and Bily don't have. I would play:

As you point out everyone who is on this site knows at least 9 of the starting 11 that Moyes will pick, we all know what minute the subs will come on and who those players will be, and we all know Everton won't beat Fulham.
If Osman does not make it I hope Barkley gets a run from the bench as the only positive at the present time is seeing him in the squad.

Lee Smith I like that line up unless Cahill is fit. However, Moyesy please forget the high ball into the box as giant Hangeland will eat up everything. Time we got our first win and where better place than the unhappy hunting ground at Craven Cottage. Let's play the ball on the ground more to Yaks and Becks if they start together. Fingers crossed.

Has anybody heard anything about the rumours that Heitinga didn't show for training this week? Heard it on the Followtonians podcast... that would certainly be a worry if it proves to be true!
I think Moyes should be ultra defensive so we stop conceding goals. Recall Yobo to make a 8-2-0 formation with two defensive midfielders:

Record here is a disgrace to the name of Everton FC...Lost 11 of last 12 games..Won once since 1966...God help the blues today.
The game has come & gone now...............another good display upto the last quarter of the pitch, however, no end result !
Unforunately Osman did appear as a substitute for Cahill. I believe I mentioned this on another thread but, as long as Moyes keeps on picking the wrong team, we will remain at the bottom of the Premier League.
