Happy Birthday

I note it is Yakubu's (ahem) 28th Birthday this weekend. I wouldn't have put him a day older than 35. Happy Birthday Ayegbeni! Let's hope you score.

He's got to start against Sunderland, our away form is shocking with Saha in the team because he cannot hold the ball up and gets isolated.
Feed the Yak...... some birthday cake!
Start him with Saha. They can both be quality but have even more pressure when on there own up front.
2 upfront for gods sake. Attack, attack, attack!!!!!
You never know Craig, Moyes may start with 2 up front. Hang on a mo, just seen a couple of pigs fly past the window!

I'm not convinced Yakubu and Saha are a good partnership upfront. One of them needs to put the workrate in, that's why Beckford might be a better alternative to Saha.
There's not much wrong with Yak and Tim up front once Yak rediscovers his shooting boots.
Yakubu and Beckford. It will happen eventually. Why not against Sunderland? Sorry, I forgot, that would be bold and positive.
The Yak has looked dangerous this season. He and Cahill link well and he's been unlucky not to have more than one goal to his name. Couple cleared off the line and he hit the post against Newcastle. I think starting him against Sunderland is a good call.
He should've started against Arsenal, I felt he didn't deserve to be dropped for Saha.
Think Yak's birthday is Monday as is Fellaini's. Shame they both won't be starting.
Yakubu looks a damn sight more dangerous than Balsa man Saha at the moment, play him and Beckford and go for early goals or DM could do as he always bleeding does and go defensive shite and we go 4-4-2 last ten mins when probably behind chasing a draw.
Who was that kid scoring a cracking goal for Tranmere, he beat about 3 or 4 players driving into the box then knocked it past the keeper. It was on Sky Sports today must have happened within the last fortnight.
Anyone know if he's as good as the goal looked?
Same age as waist size then... I'll leave you all to estimate..
Dale Jennings, Charles. He's been doing all season when played. Looks a talent, and if half of what Rovers fans tell me is true then we should definately at least send a few scouts over the water.
Thanks Ian duly noted, be interesting to see his development he looked a real player, hope he's a blue.
Dale is on the radar of quite a few clubs and if we are to have any chance it would be an early move, Tranmere are obviously keen to safeguard him.
Charles King @15: "Hope he's a blue."
I hope he isn't. I don't want him signing for Liverpool.
Yakubu is finished so how long are people going to go on about him finding his shooting boots.
