Hope Returns?

Our next 6 league fixtures are all winable games. I sit imagining 18 points, 6 games of victories. We have 4 home matches, and only Newcastle and Wolves away. Surley we can salvage a decent season and a Cup run?
Why do I have the sinking feeling we'll fall short of Wembley, and only get 6 points of a possible 18?
The next month and half is just crucial. Someone tell me sunny days are ahead. I can feel the tide turning, but just can't believe it'll happen. We're so inconsistent....

It's all about keeping injury free with such a small squad, especially if Felliani misses out on the next two fixtures, and with Tim carrying a injury, we cannot afford to get any more.
But Wembley in May is a very tempting thought.
I really hope we will take 18 pts from those fixtures but to be honest, I think it will be somewhere between 8 and 12 points. If we take 12 points or so and progress in the cup, I will be satisfied. Not happy, not over the moon, but content.
..and so is your post Jamie mate. Make your mind up if your feeling optimistic or pessimistic!!!!!
The reality will probably end up somewhere between the two extremes, with a ninth place finish and going out of the cup in the next round when we meet Villa or City away.
Keep the faith son...
Now I am confident we fill finish 7th-ish and have a great shot at the cup. COYB
It was only a couple weeks ago we made Bolton look like Real Madrid or B0arca, such was our shite performance.
I wish I had your faith but, at the time of typing this, we are 1-0 down to Reading.
We're so inconsistent. Dreadful.

How can you make your mind up? You see 2 games that make you feel like the tide is turning, and the team reverts to utter crap. They toy with you. Swear to the Almighty this current squad makes you schizophrenic.
Last night was shite and we'll get turned over on Saturday too.
Draw vs Fulham and Villa will do us with pace.
We're shite. Get used to it.
I have a bad feeling about the relegation fight as I just don't see any battlers prepared or able to dig in, which is what's needed when in the trenches of a relegation fight. Away teams should have to give blood to come away from Goodison with anything ? Reading didn't have to give sweat.
Sick and tired of Moyes kidding himself and trying to kid us that we have good players and a good team. Here's a little poser on his so-called great squad: How many would bring in a fee above £5M?

Make or break time for this season now.
Yes, it could be Top 6 and Wembley, but it could just as easily be 13th and dumped out at Reading in a replay.
I'm on the optimistic side and think 56 points will probably be enough for 6th and we can beat anybody in a Cup tie so COYB!
