Assuming he was interested in the first place, David Moyes looks set to miss out on Heerenveen striker Bas Dost after Wolfsburg lodged a £6.5m bid for the striker.

Yep, that's that one done with!

I said we should have bought him before Christmas and done the business in January before others got involved. That is what the club must do because as soon as a bidding war starts we are doomed. Surely the board can see this?

Why don't they try to seal a deal for Jelle Vossen now before others get involved? Similar type player to Dost, in fact, probably a bit better in my opinion.

In order to be "outbid" you first need to "bid".

More lazy journalistic rubbish. They get lazier and lazier now they can't illegally hack voicemails to get stories.

I'd rather have a banker round to dinner than a newspaper employee.
