Blues in pole position for Sigurdarson
Reports from the Midlands suggest that Wolves fear they will be trumped by Everton in their efforts to sign Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson, with David Moyes said to have lodged a £3m bid for the Icelandic striker.

This guy is not even remotely close to be worth this kinda money... remember we paid only £5-600k for Gibson......and this Icelander is not worth half of that. Moyes is proving to be insane if he actually launches this bid.
There must be better strikers out there.
Well, I'll bow to the knowledge of our Scandinavian supporters.
The other thing that concerns me is trumping newly-relegated Wolves...
Agree with Bjorn from what I have seen his finishing is very poor. Not the kind of player we need.
Hmmm....
Swansea City have agreed a fee of about £7.2m with Hoffenheim to sign loan midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, BBC Sport Wales understands.
They're different guys Michael.
Eric,
I'm expecting a £5m bid to go in any time soon for the other now though.
Watched the Youtube clip on him last night... can't say I was blown away... they repeated him missing the target 4 times from 4 angles... I would have thought a package would have had some better moments to be honest.
I'm not prejudging... just saying.
I thought that too, David, but at least it was refreshing to watch a YouTube video where it did show the player missing chances as well as converting them. All players miss chances. To me though, he looked more an attacking midfielder from that clip, rather than a striker.
Doh!
Serves me right for breaking the cardinal rule re transfer rumours: ignore until they are holding up the shirt.
Michael, I think the player mentioned above 'Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson' is a different player thats signing for Swansea, 'Gylfi Sigurdsson' ??
I maybe wrong like !
Please let us use the money elsewhere. I'm reading in Norwegian papers today that Cardiff have expressed interest directly to the club. "We have received specific requests to Björn. That's all I will say," said LSK's Sports Director Torgeir Bjarman.
The paper also mention that they have registered interest from Everton, Reading and Stale Solbakkens Wolverhampton.
And Mark R, you`re not wrong ? we are talking about differents Sigurdarson here...
He's going to wolves, so we will not be seeing this guy at gp.
