By every player being up for it and not making stupid mistakes or giving away silly free kicks in dangerous areas.

Also, by hoping that the officials don't succumb to the crowd and give them everything which has too often been the case.

Wish this team had a Big Dunc or similar talisman up front. I don't know what it was but with Duncan during his first spell, I never feared derbies. These days I start dreading them about 3 days beforehand.

We have a lot more talent than recent years. Jack and Iliman can torment and create, Beto can run amok and Dewsbury-Hall can craft a pass or shot.

We can win free kicks, win balls in the air. For fuck's sake, we are actually a threat, take us lightly at your peril, scum...

The best plan by far would be to continue buying better players.

I've noticed a correlation between teams with really good players and their results.

Robert, I think you might be on to something there. You are duly promoted to chief of operations.

There were two ladies games tonight including Everton — the managers of all four teams used the full allocation of subs.

Just saying like with a hint to tomorrow's game!

Dave, does the Goodison curse still linger for the women's team?

After thrashing the RS women, our women's team have now played 2 and lost 2 after moving into Goodison, both to newly promoted teams.
