Yobo's upgrade

For years now Joseph Yobo has been considered by many Evertonians to be like 'Bambi on ice'. Well, after todays showing it looks like he's taken on a senior role as now playing like Bambi's mum, dead in the first scene!

He is a complete liability and we need to stop playing him in case possible future employers send scouts whose feedback would not be good! Time to get shut...

totally agree, ive just watched the highlights on everton tv and i put him at fault for both goals. hes just not good enough anymore.time to get rid and invest the money in new players

Hibbo fel asleep for their throw-in that led to their 2nd goal... but I can't say I disagree with getting rid of Yobo.

If we're so short of cash, why not make a couple of quid from selling him on. I think his confidence has been rocked now that he's not even 1st choice backup for the centre-halfs. I'd honestly rather see Hibbo, Neville or even Duffy fill in for Jags and Heitinga (after Distin of course).

How much would we honestly get for him? Does £2m seem a bit optomistic?

yobo lost it 3 years ago. I lost faith in him since he gifted Shrek that goal at goodison when i never ever wanted to see him score against us!

I think its clear to many that there needs to be a clear out of some players at Goodison. Fresh blood is required which is quite normal in the life of any club.

Yobo, Yak, Hibbert and Neville's sell by dates are up and we should seek to make what we can for them now. We have cover, albeit sparse but how else are we going to bring anyone in?

Frankly I think we will have to sell the above to get LD in OR we make the most from a sale of Stephen Pienaar while we can, especially with no contract conclusion in sight

Some good points but the worst player on the park for EFC was Coleman by a mile. He couldnt control the ball both with his chest and feet and was withdrawn at half time. I'm sorry but he is not ready at all for the Premeriship based on the game on Saturday, he made Hibbert look good witch is not easy. COYB

Fantastic idea. Jags is possibly out for a couple of months, if we believe the rumours, so lets sell his natural replacement. The quickest defender we have, who hasn't played much due to injury.

We are skint and thinking of selling the Nigerian captain because of a poor pre-season game. Give us strength

Love the idea of Hibbert the Good Witch. Touch wood he's in for a decent spell of form.
