According to Portuguese newspaper Record, Everton have offered Benfica around £39m for Raul Jimenez.
The Mexican striker made 19 league appearances last season, six as a starter, scoring seven goals.
He was supposedly the subject of a £44m offer from China in January, but Benfica reportedly turned it down. It seems they are not willing to part with Jimenez for less than that fee.
