Fresh speculation around Leicester's Gray

Everton are said to be interested in signing England U21 winger Demarai Gray, a player they reportedly lost out on last year when he signed for Leicester from Birmingham City.

Identified for the Foxes by current director of football at Finch Farm, Steve Walsh, Gray joined Leicester in January 2016 for a reported fee of £3.7m but would command a significantly larger fee this time around if the Toffees' interest is genuine.

Sky Sports report that the 21-year-old is among Everton's targets for the current transfer window but they would need to assure Gray of more regular game time than he got at the King Power Stadium last season.

Gray made nine starts for Leicester, with another 21 coming off the bench, and is known to be seeking regular first-team action.
