A move by Everton for Charlton defender Ezri Konsa could be shelved until the summer with the club reportedly put off by the Addicks' asking price.
Both the Blues and Liverpool have been linked with the young centre-half and Everton were said to be very close to tying up a deal for him but the suggestions are now that Charlton want £5m.
Other reports claim that Konsa could yet make the switch to Goodison if further negotiations between now and Wednesday's transfer deadline provide a breakthrough.
If not, he will remain with Charlton for the time being.
