David Henen is set to join Sunderland on loan for the remainder of the season according to sources in Belgium.
The Under-23s striker, once the subject of one of the more interesting transfer sagas when he joined Olympiakos after spending months training at Finch Farm, only to be loaned back to the Blues and then signed permanently for £200,000.
He has failed to break into the first team at Everton, however, and could now spend the last few months of his contract at the Stadium of Light whereupon he would be a free agent.
