Baines wants to stay at Everton

Despite ill-founded rumours suggesting he was eyeing a move to LA Galaxy, Leighton Baines has no intention of making a move to the United States according to a fresh report.

A claim made by The S*n newspaper on Monday has been quashed by BBC sources who say that the defender wants to remain with the Blues, particularly with a new manager coming on board.

Having recovered from a medium-term calf problem, Baines recently surpassed 400 appearances for Everton and, at the age of 33, is still highly regarded by Blues fans.
