An unchanged Everton line-up hosts Sunderland in the club's final home fixture of the 2025-26 Premier League season this afternoon.

Winless in the last five games, can David Moyes inspire the side to get back to winning ways and leave us in a much better frame of mind as we contemplate the summer transfer.

Team News

Everton are  unchanged 11 for today's game, with Seamus Coleman on the bench.

First Half

Everton kicked off for the last time this season, reverting to the Pickford punt, bouncing out for a goal kick, conceding possession to Sunderland. Go figure.

Everton: Pickford, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko, Garner, Iroegbunam, Röhl, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye, Beto.

Subs: Travers, Patterson, McNeil, Barry, George, Dibling, Coleman, Alcaraz, Armstrong.

Last chance saloon for the Sunday Conference League.

Will David go for it?

Same ref who did the cup game v Sunderland.

If the Moyesiah ran a restaurant, the menu would be samey at best.

The Moyes bashers get their moans in early !

And if you were in charge, who exactly would you play instead ? maybe you could magically play players who arent at the club ?

The line up got a draw at Palace and were so unlucky against Man City when denied a clear penalty.

If he had changed the said no doubt you would find something else to moan about

We haven't won in our last 5 games, and surprise surprise, Moyes picks same team again, same tactics and same formation?

Interesting fact - Chelsea who are level on points with us, play Spurs and Sunderland in their last 2 games, while we play Sunderland and Spurs.

Hope we get a couple of goals up and can bring Seamus on for a proper farewell.

Agreed Martin. Rather like my wife, not happy unless they’ve got something to moan about. I’m happy to oblige!

I hope he brings Seamus on on the hour...

I’m certainly not a Moyes basher but I would have liked to see a change. Some of our players are running on fumes. I would have liked to see more of a change. At the cup game I thought Patterson had a wry good game so I thought he would have considered him at RB. I will be very disappointed if he doesn’t use all 5 substitutes today

I will only be disappointed if we don’t get 3 points.
We have to be up for this game and on the front foot..

I always get scores wrong, but today feels like a drab draw or a 1-0 either way.

Betting Everton at odds on is only for the brave today.

I hope Seamus gets on for at least the last 30min's, and gets a massive sendoff front the fans, which he truly deserves, a club ambassador on and off the field. Don't believe there's Moyes bashers on here, you have to question his formation after only picking up 3pts from 15 in last 5 games.

Now there's no pressure, watch us cruise to a 3-0 win.

Thank you Christy.

I'd have picked Pickford, Coleman, Tarkowski, O'Brien, Mykolenko.
N'Diaye, Rohl, Garner, KDH, George and Beto.

Jack @3, Moyes restaurant would be a step back in time to Pub Grub in the 70's.

Hope Shaka doesn’t dominate the game like he did in the cup game
