Will Duffy go out on loan too?

Shane Duffy is set to go on loan again after penning a new contract with Everton. His father Brian today told BBC Radio Foyle in Londonderry that the 20-year-old was set to be loaned out again by manager, David Moyes.

Although he mentioned no names, he suggested a number of clubs in the Championship were seeking his son's services. The Sentinel understands that one of those sides is Middlesbrough.

This is a no brainer. Fourth in line and when you consider that Moyes would almost certainly play Hibbert and possibly even Neville ahead of him at CB it makes even more sense.

Yup. Makes sense to me. Test himself at Championship level and we will get an idea of how good he is at the moment. Most centre backs don't really come into their own till mid 20s.

Yes, lend him out; the more games and experience he gets the better player he will become. His chance will come at Everton but he is down the pecking order at the moment so, instead of getting ring-rusty, give him some game time.

Agree. What's dazzling competing against fellows your age is an intercepted pass heading in the other direction in the Big Leagues.

Get games, son, and learn the craft.of your profession. We're watching.
