Tell you what: Let’s buy another goalkeeper!

With the midfield set to be massively depleted for the next few weeks, possibly throughout the upcoming transfer window, Everton are planning to sign yet another goalkeeper.

It seems David Moyes gave false hope that his preoccupation with having enough goalkeepers was perhaps abating when he put only one substitute goalkeeper on the bench at Stamford Bridge yesterday.

But preparations are well advanced to sign a new young goalkeeper from Australia. Lachlan Allen has been impressing for West Sydney Wanderers. Allen already has a UK Passport, which would make the 17-year-old’s move to Finch Farm a lot easier to accomplish in January, if recent talks with his family were successful.
