Middlesbrough U21s 0 – 1 Everton U21s
Everton U21s secured a win at Middlesbrough with the only goal of the game on Friday evening at the Riverside Stadium.
That goal was scored by Omari Benjamin just after the hour mark. Jack Patterson swung a corner from the left and Benjamin headed it home from close range as the Blues went on to secure all 3 points in only their second victory of the new PL2 season.
Everton U21s: G Pickford, Finney [Y:50′], Van Schoor, Tamen, Thomas, J Patterson, Beaumont-Clark (75′ Ebere), Gomez, Benjamin (85′ Samuels-Smith), Graham [Y:90+4′], Catesby (75′ Clarke).
Subs not Used: Lukjanciks, Bates.
