Everton U21s almost recovered after giving up 3 goals in the first half on Friday evening at Finch Farm in their PL2 encounter with Aston Villa U21s.
Young striker Braiden Graham got on the scoresheet just before the hour mark, cutting inside from the left and shooting low into the corner, and Jacob Beaumont-Clark scored a second 20 minutes later from close range but it wasn’t enough to reverse the damage done in the first half.
That was after a very young 15-year-old Jonathan Nsangou made his first appearance at this level after excelling for the Under-18s.
