Everton have entered a strategic partnership with Japanese J1-League club Nagoya Grampus as part of efforts to grow the club’s reach in Asia.
Everton CEO Angus Kinnear told The Echo: “It is a true honour for Everton to be entering into a special partnership with Nagoya Grampus. Previous links with the Japanese club include former Everton striker, Gary Lineker, who finished his playing career at Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1994. Current links are strong between The Friedkin Group and Toyota, who own the club, Nagoya Grampus also having a strategic partnership with AS Roma for the last 3 years.
