The Mail claims that Everton have revived their interest in Aston Villa winger Jaden Philogene, who turned down a move to the Blues last summer.
The 22-year-old has made 15 appearances across all competitions for Villa this season, but has started only 4 of those games, scoring no goals after mostly being used off the bench by Unai Emery.
A young star who came up through the Villa ranks, Philogene rejoined the club last summer after spending a successful season with Hull City, where he scored 12 goals in the Championship, and saw his transfer value increase 10-fold.
However, he has failed to bring that goalscoring form back with him and looks to be another flawed acquisition following on the heels of Harrison and Lindstrøm, who have both struggled to perform effectively in Sean Dyche’s ultra-defensive set-up.
