The latest episode of ToffeeWeb’s Once a Blue series saw us joined by former Everton midfielder Barry Horne.
Horne spent four seasons at Everton after arriving from Southampton in 1992, and was a prominent part of some memorable moments from that period. The former Wales captain scored a stunning goal in the 1994 ‘Great Escape’ against Wimbledon, and formed part of the team that lifted the FA Cup a year later.
The latest episode saw Horne discuss his decision to snub Spurs for Everton, that dramatic day against Wimbledon, and how the Blues beat Manchester United to secure cup success at Wembley.
