Toffeeweb Comment

A Scouse Leprechaun wailing in the peat bogs

A provocative section of ToffeeWeb, profiling the thoughts of Evertonian Colm Kavanagh:

In a drab and run-down area of Arklow, 50 miles south of Dublin, on a street corner opposite the gasworks, there stands a humble newsagents. A cornerstone of the local community and monument to honest graft, this innocuous mercantile adventure is the home and life-work of perhaps the greatest raconteur, Tayto merchant, Blue-Bellied Evertonian, and knowledgeable football-watcher known to man Colm Kavanagh, seen here with his keenest reader and critic, 3-year-old Eoin.
