Bill Kenwright: where's the investment?

I submitted a contribution to ToffeeWeb last season, regarding the general inefficiency of our now chairman. My opinion of Mr Kenwright is unchanged. What has changed is my anger at the unbelievably ‘loyal’ fans on this website, who find any kind of criticism directed towards ‘Blue Bill’ offensive.

Let’s have a dose of reality here, the man is a charlatan, a story teller, and appears to be nothing but an outright liar!

How many of you would jeopardise the club you love, simply to stay at the helm, so you could milk the good times, and hide during the bad times? Thought not! Bill loves Everton, like he loves himself. Supporting the blues is a selfless act. We know it’s tough, but it’s ultimately rewarding, because any sort of success is shared with like minded people.

Where’s the investment? Bill, you are an absolute joke!

I can still see his face walking out of Old Trafford, while sucking up to some ‘no mark’ Sky Reporter, the day before he sold Rooney, ‘ I honestly don’t know’ was his answer to the same old question.

We’ve got the best manager in the Prem, and we still sold our best player in the window.

’Real Madrid wanted him’. Of course they did, but they would have waited until the end of the season. Show some fuckin’ backbone Billy. I know let’s take the £2.5m and play like relegation fodder for the rest of the season.

The best chance we’ve ever had of Champions League Football, blown out of the water by a self serving ‘luvvie’, who has seemingly lied, cheated and hoped against hope that the man that is Moyes would bail him out of trouble by qualifying for Europe’s premier competition against all the odds. Sell Rooney? We’ve got away with it. Sell Tommy G, we haven’t.

I’d settle for mid table obscurity for the next five years to get rid of Kenwright. He’s up there with Tony Blair on my list of ‘most hated’. The players and management staff deserve so much more, but I’m hoping Man U play Arsenal in the FA Cup Final and free up another UEFA place.

Tim Cahill, Kevin Kilbane and Lee Carsley have been immense, but they’re knackered! David Moyes is a God, but he’s too good for any club run by Kenwright!

I’m often accused of being overly optimistic, but even I can tell that it’s all about to go horribly wrong, and there’s only one man to blame!

Moyes won't take this crap for much longer. I know him from his Preston days, and he's fiercely ambitious. He achieved miracles at Deepdale. He's proved himself as the best manager in the Prem, bar none. Why should he put up with this crap any longer than he needs to.

The thing that annoys me the most, is the short memories of people who slag off ToffeeWeb for having a pop at Bill. We sold Rooney, we had no money, Paul Gregg was about to step in, then suddenly Bill comes up with another investor. Where is the investment? Bill has let us all down, and not even the team’s excellent performance this season can hide his woeful performance as chairman. Bill, you say you love the club, how can that be true, when you’ll do anything to stay in charge. You love the limelight, some of your contributions on radio and TV are nothing short of ‘cringeworthy’. You had better times as ‘Betty’s lad’ on Corrie, and you were pretty shit at that.

If you truly love the blues, then do us all a favour and walk away. This isn’t some shitty little club, this is Everton, and you’re not fit to run it.

Bill, I despise you, and I never thought I'd say that of a fellow blue, but you have put personal glory ahead of the club you purport to love. YOU ARE A FAKE!
