Let's Make Noise!

By Tom Quinn :  16/01/2009 :  Comments (20) :
Let's create a tidal wave of support for our Team!

In the Uefa Cup before the Nurnberg game, David Moyes was giving the team a pep talk in the team hotel... Outside the hotel, a crowd of enthusiastic Everton supporters gathered and began to chant their support for the team. Hearing the chanting from the street, Moyes interrupted his talk and opened the windows and told the team to listen. This was the inspiration the team needed to win a famous victory later in the evening.

Next week there will be no team hotel for the fans to stand outside... We must find another way to raise an inspiring chant for our team on the verge of History and Legend. These games will be talked about by Everton fans for decades to come...

This morning I wrote to and left a message of support for the team, a message full of all the passionate commitment I could muster from 40 years of supporting Everton. I want all Everton supporters to do likewise, to send messages of support to the Manager and team, from wherever you may be...

I want those of you who visit other Sites and Forums to use those Forums to post messages calling for fans to rain down Royle Blue messages of support for the team in the two biggest games we will have played in many a season... Do it, fellow Blues! Do it! We will make a new Nurnberg... and inspire our team to win games we will still dream of in decades to come...

But be careful... no "ifs", no "buts", no "maybes", no "we hope"... no "we can"... WE WILL! Nothing but uncompromising belief, conviction, determination... strength!

I am not entertaining any thought of our not winning these games. We know we are good enough, and we are playing a team booed at home by their own supporters because they could not beat West Ham or someone on a cold Monday evening recently... We will give them something to boo about! Something to remember us by!

For seasons I have been waiting for David Moyes's Everton to come of age... I have believed and said again and again that we need a "Turning Point", a game or games which will lift the team out of the ordinary into something very very special... These are those games!!! This is the "Turning Point" for the Royal Blues of Mersey... When we have brought their title challenge to its knees and knocked them out of the Cup, we can go on to face the greater challenges which will bring us back to greatness...

Fans are asking "which one do you want to win?" I want to win both these games... and no compromise. Last season we faced West Ham in the Cup and League and beat them twice... We can do it too at Anfield! Spurs beat them twice in a week recently, why not us?

They are trying to build up a "20 years since Hillsborough" atmosphere... They know they need something special to raise themselves against us. We must give our team something special: belief, courage, determination, strength, and support like never before... Royal Blue Fire that Rages! The Beginnings of a Blue Revolution!

Write your messages of support to Post the address on other Sites and Forums... We must make a noise which will relive Nurnberg and which will be the raised loud voice of all those who have stood on the terraces and supported Everton since the birth of the club... We must make a noise which will carry into Anfield for both games and rise against the emotional pitch the Reds will raise there... We must be louder and stronger than them...

We will be the crest of the wave, and we will carry the team into the stuff that Dreams are made of!

Remember... We are Everton! And Forever Everton!

COME ON YOU BLUES! One more time...

Write your messages of support! Carry your Team!

If there is anything that can get us noticed by the Sky 4 and the rest of Europe, a win or at least a very good performance against the odds, will certainly be it.

If a win or wins does occur I can see excuse in the headlines ? "Benitez?s rants against Fergie causes the shite to lose focus" or "Benitez?s unwillingness to sign his contract distracted the team".

Cant see them putting the word shite in the headlines but somehow I can never bring myself to say their name.

To sing loudest is at its most important during that karaoke session they do before the match.

Now the fat wanker has refused to sign his contract, maybe we should sing the song posted on here (sorry, can't remember who by) to the tune of the American Anthem to wind the RS up along with the flags mentioned above. Let's go for it and get two wins in a week and make legends of the boys.

All in all I think it?s a disgrace that Setanta is televising both of these games! Two big games for both clubs which could make or break their season is subject to premium TV! At the very least, ITV should televise the FA Cup match which is EFC?s best chance of silverware!

How would we go about protesting (and I mean both sets of supporters) at getting one of the big games televised on terrestital TV? Come on, everyone ? let's unite and be against this premium money grabbingh tossers!

Sorry to to say this but I don't think we will score in either of the 2 derby games and I wouldn't be surprised if Cahill doesnt make it tomorrow.

Good post, it?s time for everyone to believe. We can?t lose anything by positivity. Forget the players who can?t play, this could well be Big Vic?s coming of age, young Gosling is an unknown fearless quanity who may just be a secret weapon. Our defense on current form is every bit as good as theirs, and we have genuine quality in midfield.

Much worse teams have been to Anfield this season and been very comfortable. We can do that and cause them problems the way we have passed the ball recently. The pressure is cranked up on the shite after the week Man Utd had last week, they will break tomorrow and we will have our night.

I was getting more and more excited reading all these positive posts - the passion here is exactly what we need to help the boys do the RS. Then bloody Jim pops up with that shit. Did you even read the article??? Why would you post that? Keep it to yourself eh.

Tom - you will do for me mate.

Keep the faith

Njal - those days are gone mate things have deteriorated too much. But let's hope both sets of fans can sing and chant without resorting to the disgusting stuff we have heard these past few years. That just showed both sets of fans and the city and region in a bad light to the rest of football.
Humour not malice ? Support not bile ? Respect not hate.

Remember our infamous 4-4 draw... how many weeks after that did the Liverpool manager fall!! The blues are on the up. City may be getting Kaka but we already have our midfield dynamo... c?mon Arteta, give us a goal tonight!
