Get well soon, Shane Duffy

Just a note to wish Shane Duffy a speedy recovery from what sounds a horrific freak challenge. Nearly dying playing football puts a lot into perspective.

Best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery. Hope you come out of this as a stronger person.

Why do our best youngsters get these "one in a hundred years freak injuries"? Last time it was Coleman's career threatening blister! Now it is Duffy's life-threatening liver injury. It has to stop now.

Get well soon.

Get well soon Duffy, and well done to the medic staff for getting this seen to. Too many footballers dying over the past few years (I know this wasn't a heart attack, but even so, it could have been so much worse).

The very best of luck and here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Thank you for the medical staff both at the training ground but also the hospital.

Can't really add more than what's already been said, but our prayers are with you, Shane. God speed you have a full recovery and we see you putting in the crunching tackles next season!

The injury to young Duffy brings home the thin line between success and tragedy on the very day we are pleased to see another of our fine young talents having some success on loan, and playing at Wembley. His fellow countryman gets a horrendous injury while training for his national team.

Best wishes Shane, and with a complete recovery, see you in the famous Blue shirt asap.

Hope your recovery is swift and that you are able to, as they say come back stronger! Best wishes.
