After much specualtion about our new 'revolution' we have been served with our new Hot Pink away shirt:

I actually like it — no, I am not drugged or drunk. It will sell well with the women especially and is not that salmon colour as was thought to be previously.
My concern is Howard's GK shirt. It looks just like a jumper. I like the blue across the chest of the shirt but that means that it will be white on the home shirt and we will look like Birmingham

Not a fan then Dave.....up the Revolution.....effing right up it, it's an embarrasment. If it wasn't enough that we had a pink Coq on our shirts last year now the pink has took over as the prominent colour.
Just seen the images of the new away kit and, just as predicted by someone on here a week or so ago, it is that ghastly pink with blue flash across the chest... Bleeeuuuuurgh!!! WTF?!!!

Fair play, I like (and own) the away strip from last season with the pink flash; as much as it was derided by many of our own fans, pretty much everyone else (inside & outside football) I met loved it.
Based on last season's kits being poor home and decent away, this season we can only have one hope. That the opposite applies. Personally, I cannot see me buying this one.

I know that I may get some slack for this post but I just saw the new away kit on the official site and I'm shocked.
It's not the colour for a football jersey. These guys at Le Coq (pronounced Cock-Up) get paid loads of cash to design jerseys and this is the best that they could come up with!?! I can't believe that the club was happy with the design when Le Coq ran it by them. I hope that our potential new signings don't get put off by this jersey and sign for the evil ones across the park.
I was looking through the merchandise at the online club store and noticed that we also have a pair of pink shorts to go with the pink jerseys! I know that we wore pink a long time ago but I'm sure it wasn't as bad as this one.
The description of the kit is that the colour helps players to see their team-mates in their peripheral vision. I'm sure they will not only see them in their peripheral vision during the game but for hours after the game till their eyes get the lightning pink out of their colour receptors. I am praying for a great season and hope that the wins will help us forget the crazy jersey.
I was hoping that the "leaked" images last week of the new away kit would be a joke. However, they are not.
I think its fair to say this kit will have the worst sales margin in our history. Let's just hope other teams hate it so much that it distracts them in our away games. Females love pink tops but I wouldn't even buy this for the missus — it's horrible
When the charity shirt came out, many were saying it should be an official kit as there was a market. Now they bring one out, some will complain. Myself; would I wear it? No, I don't wear replica kits, full stop. But my daughters have already said they want one.
I think it looks alright. Ordered mine before I saw the shots, as I knew I would buy it anyway. I was out though when they tried to deliver it, so haven't got my hands on it yet.
I've just been to the Everton Two in town and the kit is not all bad> The material used for it is the best used for an Everton kit ever, it is similar to Nike material. It's also a decent design, they did go overboard on the pink but it's much better than that Liverpool kit with a kaleidoscope in the middle of it, ffs!
When I saw the kit on the offical site and that disco music as soundtrack, I thought it was an advert for Queer as Folk.
Nobody forces you to buy one, and you don't have to wear a club kit to show your support. Just wear a scarf and stop being sucked in by the money machine.

This kit is a disgrace. It is not going to be popular. Why can't the club get it into their heads that fans love the yellow away kit. I won't be buying it. In fact I won't buy the home one either when it comes out. Are we the only club who changes all our kits EVERY season? Rip-off....

I dont know... it looks better on the players than it does on the official shop website but it's not great! Why don't they ask the fans' opinion on colours at least or something?! It just doesn't seem like they've put that much effort in to it, which is a shame.
I hope the home kit is a bit more tasteful. Look at both the new England kits, they're smart and tailored and just look a bit classy... that's what Everton's should be like; that's what i see us as, a classy team — this is just a bit tacky and garish.

This is better than last year's away strip, I reckon. I might understand the disdain if it had been a 'baby pink' like the Palermo one... it's the sort of thing Barca have done with neon-esque colours.

If I were the kit-buying type — I'm not generally but when I do buy a shirt, it's the home jersey — there's no effing way I'm going to buy something that looks like that let alone be seen out the house with it on.
How many people who normally snap up the away shirt, particularly if it's tasteful white, are going to run a mile when they they see this? How much in lost sales does that add up to?
I think that the commercial and marketing departments have been doing some great things recently, but this is a serious own goal if you ask me. Worse, we'll be playing in it all the time against teams that clash with our home strip because no one else in their right minds — apart from the shower across the Park, maybe, or Chelsea — would entertain that colour.

It's great! I like it (and I'm certain of my sexuality). And I'm quite certain this kit will sell well. All the guys (who dislike this) can get the blue home shirts while their wives, girlfriends, daughters, etc will get the pink one. Everyone wins.

Could I introduce the Everton marketing team to a new concept: Market Research. FFS we've spent hours on this site talking about improving revenue steams, and they introduce a pink kit! I should imagine the biggest market for replica kits is the under 30's, and they expect a 14-year-old lad to walk the streets dressed in pink. Maybe the marketing man's a kopite!

I was hoping the rumours of a pink kit meant that they would bring out a salmon pink shirt as a tribute to the first Everton team to win the Title 120 years ago, as salmon pink was the first team colour back in 1890-91.
Sadly not. It seems to me that having started last season by taking an iconic kit from 1985 & then fucking it up, LCS have this time started with the "Lineker bib" as the starting point & then messed about with what was already an appalling design. I just hope it's not available in XXXL!

3. The blue "stripe", which half-arses over the left shoulder like a fucked-up upside down speech bubble. No symmetry here for LQS, banish the thought.
4. The badge. It's not enough that the kit is bloody pink — they also make the badge pink.
No joke — it's actually so bad that I'm utterly convinced that a Kopite designed it. I don't care about the material, the design overwhelms any plus point of the kit.
Let's be real here — we shouldn't be pissed at the fact its pink or that the lads on the pitch will look ridiculous. Nope, we should be pissed at the fact our fantastic marketing department has in one fell swoop alienated about 50% of the possible shirt buyer market through sheer, complete stupidity.

The pink crest is sacrilege, by the way. Last year's change strip was passable because it was primarily black but might even have been good had the badge been white.

I went to get it for my 5-year-old boy today. I soon left Everton One empty-handed when I was told it was £80.08 for a small boys kit with his name and Prem badge. Everton act all moral by not putting an alcohol sponsor on the kids kits, but then charge over 80 quid for it... disgrace.

I don't hate this. It's not great, and I won't buy it, but it's an interesting change.

As I say I have no issue with this, but what if Le Coq had decided to canvass opinion and bring this style out in amber and royal blue? I reckon it'd be a winner all round.
Re: the home kit — I bought it but I've never taken to it, and I remember the '85 team and kit well. Still think Umbro's tailored kits are the best on the market by the way.

This looks not that bad with the dark shorts and stockings. But only a football player or woman could pull this off. A slaphead over 40 wouldn't been seen dead in this. It'll be saying, "I'm dying for a bum fuck."
The only thing I have a problem with is the badge. I actually kind of like the kit, I just think the badge should be white or black or any color other than pink. The badge is a symbol of club pride and I think it is disrespectful to our history to have a pink badge.

Yeah I agree Pat, was thinking the same thing. The pink itself is ok, but they ballsed it up badly by having the crest the same colour as the shirt, it just doesn't work. Any other colour would have been better. Basic error, you really have to wonder about the competence of these people...

Frank Nolan, it's not half price without the name and badge, the name and number is 12 quid and 6 for the badge, that's still 62 quid for a small boys kit. Rip-off.

I am looking this top, it's the gayest top there can be. It's just as bad, if not worse than when we had the salmon and blue kit, don't the marketing dept of Everton know anything? Knobs. No wonder this club never moves forward.

There are plenty of rugby clubs wearing pink these days. It's time to grow up lads. It's a colour. An electromagnetic frequency. That's it. Watch the football, drink your beer. Judge the sales if you want. Never understood this relationship of colour to gender.

This thing was released only two days ago and I've already taken more shit than I can bear!! This shirt is gonna make us a laughing stock!! I really dont like it!!
On the positive side - we will only need to wear this horror show at Chelsea, Birmingham, West Brom, Blackburn and Wigan. So only 5 leaugue games. At the likes of Villa, Man City and West ham we can just do our all-blue senario.

Too embaressing for words. An utter disaster. I will feel shame as well as acute embarressment when they march onto the pitch. It is not the kind of shirt which will cause the players to ooze pride and inspire them to bust a gut. Quite the opposite, I would have thought.
I wonder what kind of comments they will hear from opponents. I pity our players. What kind of comments will we hear whilst propping up the bar at the local?
Imagine what it's going to be like when they play Blackpool away next season, one team in shocking pink, the other in vivid orange, my god it will be errrm.... really colourful!!!
I loved the away kit last season and this also looks excellent and will set us apart. We used to wear yellow (the colour of cowardice) but yet that was a classic away kit. Why not be different? Attaching it to sexual orientation or assuming that will be "popular with the ladies" is remarkably immature. COYP!
