Everton Summer Con - Deja Vu...

Comments (7)

Just come back from two weeks in Tenerife, avoided papers, no Internet ? fully refreshed.

Thought I'd check on all the cheery news about all of the activity regarding my Blue Boys. Guess what.... nothing happening!

Can't sell Yobo or Yak, Bily still on the books. Fellaini thinks we're sub-standard, £20 mill for Rodwell (haha) not happening, a sheep we were going to get for free decides the Tyne is a better area to live... and we are in for Wes Brown!!!!

I know Kenwright is into show business so he should be aware that serving the same old repeats summer after summer is not the way to entertain your audience. Please don't wait until the last day of the transfer window to get rid of the dross and bring some new blood in. Otherwise the fans' loyalty slowly ebb away... Please Give us some HOPE.

Don't feel so refreshed now, might need to go and watch the RS in their Blue strip....

Keep the faith,Bob. Moyes & Kenwright will be all guns blazing at 10 pm: 31st August, recruiting a 34 year old Lithuainian holding-midielder, before narrowly missing out on a teenage defender from Motherwell, who signs for Harry Redknapp-then immediately goes out on loan to Barnsley.

He'll also try (and fail ) to lure Sol Campbell out of retirement..

It is quite depressing and am loosing the plot but......... not many teams have done much if anything. We need the market to move b4 we can get involved. I am following a few footie agents on Twitter and they keep saying to everyone that its always slow this first 2 to 3 weeks of the summer and fans and press forget that players/managers/chairman go on hols for the first months or so therefore very few deals can be done. We have to have hope and pray for a few big name signings to push us forwards.

It's not July 1 yet ? why let the cat out the bag and broadcast who we want to the world, so we can be guzumped by other teams!?!

As Moyes has said, he will announce when we have made a signing; the best thing to do is turn off your computer till then!!!

Worst time of year to be an Everton fan. The problem is most of us are all to aware that we perform to put it gently SHIT in the transfer market.

We know not to expect much but at the same time being an Everton fan generally means your obsessed with all things about the club and can't help but to follow along.

Reading Everton news and rumours right now is like hitting yourself over the head with a cricket bat...but sadly I can't stop.

The rumour mill runs more rampant every summer as the media have nothing else to report on. The big 5 or 6 rich clubs are bidding billions on every big name and every other club are bidding on the rest including Everton.
However,in reality very little is happening that we really know about and much of it is just pure tripe. Best just to sit back and wait until the deals when they happen are etched in stone.
