David Moyes must have choked on his morning coffee whilst reading his newspaper and watching SSN. His best "mate" Mark Hughes was giving an interview on how unjust it was that Arsenal was trying to unsettle Mark Schwartzer, his goalkeeper at the start of this season.

What a bloody nerve the City reject has! Surely he hasn't forgoten what he did to us at the beginning of last season? Or is he just plain arrogant?

Yes Sparky, and managers too. Nice to see him trying to hang on to a player that another manager wants, after behaving like a kid in a sweet shop last summer. Now he knows what it feels like to have your squad disrupted after the season has started.

Of course he's plain arrogant, to think that this workhorse of a manager has the right to "speak with the men upstairs" and cut DM from transfer negotiations was one of the most disrespectful displays from any manager excluding the fat waiter.

Both Hughes and Fulham will flounder under his management, both reverting to type: hoofball bully boy and yet another shitty London Club.

Never liked this fucker, even when he played for us. Met him once (Manager of Wales) and even though I didn't like him, I respected him, but he was with Bobby Charlton and he was so far up his arse he could see Ferguson. Tosser in the First.

Yes, someone someday should write a book about the blatant hypocrisy throughout football.

Would be 12 chapters longer than War & Peace though.

Hughes will eventually find his level, which sadly for those of us who watch football in general, will be in some studio somewhere.

Fucking tosser! I did not see or read that interview, but if he indeed is whinging about how Schwarzer is being unsettled by Le Arse, then Moysey should personally bash the fucker to make a point like. Disgusting!

A year on and who is having the last laugh now? Hughes lost his job and Lescott frozen out and missed the world cup. We bank 23m.

also look at Steven Ireland's comments yesterday - not a happpy camp at city. bet lescott would back to the blues tomorrow if he had the chance.

Antony, its swing and round abouts, Hughes was massively out of his depth when working for the arabs, but he clearly displays the same sort of class. I think every footy manager/fan watched that report and thought "and what?" to quote him "Thats what happens when one of the big clubs shows an interest in your players!" or words to that affect.

Yes, I watched the interview and couldn't believe my ears. What a hard faced, cheeky bastard. Found myself shouting all kinds of uncomplementary words at the TV set. I think total gobshite would just about some him up though. What amazed me was, he didn't even look embarrassed.

Is he not just looking after his team?- thats kind of in his remit.
Just like he did when he was City boss and just what Everton did to Wolves when we wanted Lescott.

Harry Redknapp has always seemed the worst culprit for this... at all of his clubs he's moaned whenever one of his players is linked with someone else, but then he goes around trying to sign every midfielder in the world.

It will be interesting to see if Mark Hughes tries to get Lescott on loan.
As one paper stated that he was available to anyone, who is interested.
