Trouble at the game?

There are rumours of a stabbing incident at today's Merseyside derby but as yet nothing on the news confirmed.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Colin #101, FB is rife about a stabbing but I can't find anything on any news sources
Apparently its just rumours going round that stabbing, and nothing's happened.
Anyone else heard about an Everton fan being stabbed in a pub outside Anfield?
Something has happened

This is very bad news if it turns out to be what we fear.
I hope this proves to be a non-event and some poor mother isn't missing her son tonight.
Despite what a very famous red manager once said, football is inconsequential compared to life and death.
A lad on 606 said it was an Everton fan, seriously injured or even killed. Must have been during the game, related to the PA announcer saying that Anfield Road was closed at one end owing to a police incident or somat.
Yeah Michael, I heard that on Alan Green's show. Nasty shock.
King Harry pub apparently. There were certainly a lot of Blues there hence the noise when we scored.
Let's hope it's not as bad as feared. What with that player dying last week, not a good week for EFC fans.
Comments on the Echo website say a lad had his jaw broken and that rumours of a 14-year-old having been stabbed are untrue.
Yes, sadly to say somebody died today. Not that it matters but it was an Evertonian. As much as i love and breathe football, its unbelievable to think somebody died today because of it. RIP.
can someone actually say what happened, because if so there should be action taken by the police and the premierleague
Urban Myth blown out of proportion

Josh - you need to have a word with your uncle Sherlock and not jump to conclusions!! Noone was killed at the match or in the king harry. There was a fight which isn't unusual and someone got their jaw broken. I doubt he was totally innocent in the fracas. Let's leave all this RIP nonsense to the bleeding hearts in the Echo not on here!!
For crying out loud Josh. At least find out if someone has died before mourning their passing.
Reminds me of the chicken story.
The fella wasn't involved in the fighting he got hit from behind and his jaw broke because of their shithouse fans! So you need to stop talking about stuff you have no knowledge of too, Sean!
Riquelme has been spotted at the airport
Chris, how do you know he wasn't involved in the fighting? Has he come out and said so?
I remember a good few years back, I had my nose broke outside a chippy in town, the police arrived, and I told them that I was walking out of the chippy minding my own business, and one of the lads cracked me, for fuck - all. What I ommited to tell them, was when it all kicked - off, I was in the middle of it throwing digs left, right and centre.
What I'm saying is, just because someone says they weren't involved, well........
Because I know what happened by being there he was a 51 year oldoff duty police officer! Jumped by 6/7 lads! he's having an op today on his jaw! Broke on 3 places and a bust ear drum so people should astop spouting shit saying that people r dead etc!
Fair enough Chris, apologies.
