Nevin, Limpar, Kanchelskis... Jennings?

I think most of us agree that a genuine winger will be a handy aquisition for Everton, but the dilemma is where do you get a decent one for the money we have available.
Well, the answer is closer than you think. In fact, its practically a stone throw from Goodison. Tranmere Rovers have a teenage winger called Dale Jennings who has been tearing up league one opposition all season. On Saturday he scored another wondergoal from 30 yards to outshine the most public of teenage stars, Alex Chamberlain (Arsenal bound apparently).
Apparently it would take less than £1m to get this lad at Goodison, but the price won't be that low for long. The boy looks immense!!! I for one really miss going to Goodison and watching Pat Nevin, Anders Limpar or Kanchelskis. A fast, tricky winger my just unlock one or two more doors than the steady-Eddie's we have currently.
I guarantee that if we don't sign him up to out ranks, he will soon be terrorising our own defence very soon, and be leaving Howard cursing the ball in the back of his net.

Defiantely looks a great prospect. I certainly think he would be worth a punt, however remember that League one is a big step down from the premiership.
Jennings will be in the premiership at some point though and I hope it is with us.
He really looks too talented for Moyes.
We cannot afford his wages or be able to subsidise his paper round. A very raw but extremely promising player, unless he can play as a CB I doubt we would be interested.
We should have got Hammill. Let's not lose out on another - surely we can afford him on a permanent transfer ? More promise than Eagles and we desperately need pace. Sign him up. I don't care what league he plays in...we sign nomarks from Portugal for less.
I was under the impression from my Tranmere friends and the small amounts I've seen of him that he is a striker rather than a winger. Either way he looks exciting and I think that we should definitely make a move for him.
Top prospect. Some of his goals are unreal! Doubt Moyes will go for him though. He only seems to be interested in ex Liege players at present.
£1 million! We dont have that kind of money. Anyway who was the kid who moved from Leeds to Villa for £6 million? He was ace in League 1 and has done nothing in the prem.
Dale Jennings definitely looks awesome in League One, and I have no doubt that he will soon join the illustrious list of superstars who have jumped from that division into the Prem, such as... erm...
Firstly, Moyes doesn't sign wingers.
Secondly, we don't have £1m!
We must stop doing this to ourselves!!
How many players jump from the 3rd division to do well?
You can call it League1, but it's still the 3rd division.
Tearing up League 1 opposition all season....hahahahhahaha
Just what is Tranmere's position in the league then....??
How fuckin desperate can we get...
" Scored another wondergoal from 30 yards " I hop for his own sake, he doesn't join us, scoring wondergoals will soon be knocked out of him.
reckon Moyes will sign him, call him secret weapon number 2,"develop" his talent until he's 29 then stick him in the first team for a year before he retires! that's only if he can get Osman out of the team of course!!
Ian Tunstead 7, Fabian Delph??
Would love to get him but even if we did, he probably wouldn't be ready to be a Premier League starter for a little while.
It's a big jump. Not many make it successfully.
