Being a blue as always been hard. I love them dearly and it kills me when I see the club now in a spiral... a downward one. The Big 4 was actually the Big 5... us being the 5th, Spurs, Man City & Villa, just below us, but not only Man City have invested but Spurs as well...
In addition Sunderland have money, Stoke, Bolton and Blackburn have moved on... we have gone backwards. Unless we quickly inject funds into the club I cant see us playing PL football at the start of 2015, why 2015 you might wonder...just do the maths, look at the players who in the present team will be gone either retired or seen sense and moved on. Moyes often dithers in the transfer market and gives another manager the chance to step in.
Mr Kenwright as no money and was infact rooting down the side of his couch yesterday to find a bit of loose change. The ground is a dump, nobody will put money into Everton... even the present board have plenty of cash... but not interested in parting with it... August 2015 our first home game v Barnet !!

Make no mistake we will finish well in the bottom half though. All this talk of a push for 6th is insane!
So, on a brighter note, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE.
Fortess Goodison you are having a laugh
Look again at Andrew's post and tell me he doesn't have a point. We ARE going backwards, other "lesser" clubs ARE moving on and we ARE being left behind. Andrew also says that Moyes dithers in the transfer market, I happen to think he has no choice as we are potless.
In the rumours section of this site it states that Moyes is looking at someone called Demba Ba, don't know who he is but I saw on Sky website that West Ham were favorites to get him. West Ham FFS.
Yes Daniel we are losing our banker games though it was 4-1 not 4-0 (not that that makes it any better), and to me this proves that survival or mid table is the best we can hope for unless there are drastic changes at the club.
So that leaves Mike's asteroid, is that a home or away game Mike?
We won't go down, there are far worse teams than ours but we're just not heading anywhere. Moyes will ensure we don't go down because we keep getting these unbelievable draws. It's a bit overdramatic saying we'll get relegated 2 divisions.
The last 2 transfer windows have shown Kenwright up to be the clown I've always thought he was. We will never progress and never come close to winning anything with him at the helm.
DM ýs ýn the posýtýon of no lose...he cannot be blamed whatever happens as he has receýved no monetary backýng....our reserves are obvýously useless as none are pushýng for a fýrst team place....we are stagnatýng whýle every other team ýs ýmprovýng !!!!
If we go that low, maybe i can achieve one of my dreams and buy the club (Might have to borrow some of my kid's pocket money to help fund transfers though)
The sooner this season stutters to its end, the better.
The man's ego is bigger than the Albert Dock.
How many years do our better players have left on their contracts? You simply couldn't see them signing another one and wouldn't blame them. So we have a choice on whether to cash the lot in now or hope for a miracle and probably lose them for eff all.
If I were to offer some sort of silver lining, its that the current manager is about to enter the phase that he is actually quite good at... rebuild, make a team hard to beat, get the best out of a small squad of limited players. That's if he still has the passion for it. Our brief dalliance with half decent football is done and we'll be back to hoofball and resilient defending - hoping for an incredible draw at Anfield for the highlight of our season.
At the risk of going all mushy, it's fucking heartbreaking to look at our future.
