With the transfer deadline looming, we don?t look like we are going to be bringing any players in apart from an unheard of Greek striker for ?250k. Somehow I don?t think he will be the answer to our goal drought. However, I think Louis Saha will be.

Against Tottenham, I thought we had signed a new player; he was immense, he chased down every lost cause, battled for every header, and played with confidence. Against Chelsea, he was like this again: he was battling Terry and had the better of him in most battles. But he was left up top alone and frustrated; Rodwell did his best to assist him, but Rodwell is not an attacking midfielder ? he is more of a holding player who bursts forwards with the ball, and is there at the edge of the box for a cut back.

What was pleasing to see on Saturday was that Arteta was showing glimpses of his old self; he wasn?t great but he is low on confidence and we need to get behind him not get on his back. He linked the right with the left very well, he was always looking for the ball, and he did not go hiding because he is not in great form.

Also I?d like to comment on Johnny Heitinga?s recent form. He has slotted in at the back superbly, he is keeping Jagielka out of the team and I think it shows how solid our defence is, we just need someone to score regularly and we will be pushing up the table.

I don?t think Europe is impossible, with the league being so open this season it is not an impossibility; I think it will be difficult but we have so much potential in our squad, we just need faith and have players who want to wear the royal blue shirt. The passion the players show on the pitch is getting back to the Everton Way. Now we just need to fight our way up the league, the Everton Way.

I think all these people who are campaigning for Kenwright to go need to just leave it till the end of the season; we are not Liverpool, we do not want marches before the games, and we do not want to sit in the Gwladys Street to tell him we want him out. If we want him out at the end of the season, we do it then ? not now.

A new face makes all the difference for team morale, and the Fans get a lift. Unfortunately, you banging on about the current crop has not lifted my spirit one iota... However, you make a good point about Saha ? let's hope he stays free on injury!!

As for Europe, ha ha ha!.... Good luck with the positive response to that!!

On his day, Saha is a great player but he's too injury prone to rely on as our main striker. He will have some cameos but on the whole he's in decline.

Jake, while I commend you for the rallying call, I think you need to recognize the league is a marathon, not a sprint, and two good games doesn't get you a top class striker over a season.

The reason for the pessimism and disillusionment is well founded with a number of "senior" players exiting the club and none coming in to what is probably the smallest squad in the Premier League.

With Bullshit Billy showing no signs of selling up and having no Plan Z ? never mind an A or B ? we look as if we're heading downward at a rapid rate and it is unacceptable.

What's the point in attaining a higher league position or reaching the glamour of Europe when any money amassed will just go on another extension to our shithouse chairman's house or towards his newest broadway show? I literally despair. This person is making me really sad about the club we are both supposed to love, well I hope his heart is hurting too.

Seriously, even if we signed Eagles, it wouldn't be enough but at least it would be something. I'm just looking for something, anything to give us some hope!

I've had to fork out so much of my money to travel down for the Arsenal game tomorrow night, it's a long journey and I have an early start the next morning. I treat the club with the utmost respect and yet they treat the fans like a bunch of pricks. It's really starting to wind me up.

Louis Saha will be the answer to our goal drought? for how long? until his next injury, yes he may score a couple. but what about next season? or the season after? This club is going nowhere

I don't want Saha or any other striker chasing lost causes. Complete waste of time that just knackers them out when they get a chance on goal. Keep them, or in our case him, in the box where he will most dangerous, not near the corner flag battling with full backs. I wish fans wouldn't label strikers who don't do this as lazy, the fans are the ones being lazy by shouting these tired old platitudes.

Jake, "just leave it till the end of the season". Well we were told wait till Christmas . We were told wait till the transfer window closes. Now it's the end of the season. Here's an idea. Let's wait till this appalling duo take us into the championship. Moyes and Kenwright are destroying the club and sadly, too many Evertonians are conniving as they do it.

Kenwright do you think we have enough to avoid a relegation fight this season because it's going to be tight. Something doesn't add up and the silence is deafening. Three players leaving without replacements... WHERE HAS ALL THE MONEY GONE?

Heitinga's best position has always been as a ball playing centre half, (lawrenson?). Moyes put him in as a defensive midfielder until Jags got injured and then had the opportunity to play him where he belongs. We are blessed with 3 quality centre halves, (but unfortunately) only one decent striker.
What to do?

Peter #10. Saha went wide in an attempt to pull CFC´s defence out of position. Moyes demanded that the midfield four should be filling the penalty areas empty spaces. They did not do this. they were guilty of ball watching instead of reading the game. I mean five passes ahead not one.
All we need is:- an attacking coach, center forward, wingers...................
owner,manager the end of Evertonians sounding like and threatening behaviour asosiated with the lower ranks of society ie. our neighbours!!!
