Moving on...

Can't speak for everyone but I'm getting bored of all the negativity surrounding the club. We haven't got any money, end of story. Moaning about it won't change anything.
People get on Moyes's back constantly, but they have short memories ? what that bloke has done on a shoe string over the past few years is fantastic. Ok, his tactics at times can frustrate, but I don't know any fan of any club who doesn't question their team's tactics. I work with a bunch of United fans who slag off Ferguson all the time yet they once again are sat on top of the pile.
I'd say we've been the better side in 75% of the games we've played this season, yet we've only won 5 games ? is that Moyes's fault we can't finish?
We need numbers, of course we do; letting Yak go out on loan is odd and Pienaar going is disappointing... but if he wanted to go, then go.
The facts are that we have a good football team, our starting 11 most weeks has players that would get into the vast majority of top 6 teams ? Fellaini, Baines, Arteta, Saha, Jagielka, Cahill, Heitinga, Neville ? and before people comment, all I'll say is form is temporary, class is permanent.
Let's get behind the team, starting tonight - COYB.

the bright side of life"?
This acceptance of shite tutored by Kenwright and supported by Moyes is the biggest sin of this regime, makes me fucking sick to the back teeth.
Good on you for having the temerity to try and be positive Ben, God knows I'm struggling to at the moment.
When we have fans like you who are willing to try to get behind the team and look at things positively even when things look shit, we have a chance.
Brian, your misery and negativity can only be self-perpetuating and will never do anyone any good.
Nothing can be done? Not with with people like you, who buries their in the sand of ignorance the first sign of trouble.
There is plenty that can be done... first step is to avoid administration by removing said pricks in charge and replace.
Next, fix league position, either by giving an ultimatum to Dithering Davie or simply sack him... who can do a better job? Anyone with a half a brain that knows how to manage players and how to build a team with people playing in their prefered positions and told not to go out and defend at all costs, someone that understands and can practice the simple use of tactics, knows how to change things before they get bad... but right now, let's just get these criminals out office.
Or Championship next season will be the least of our worries!
So like a class a idiot with my head in the sand for the next couple of hours COYB
Will you still be there saying "We're a League One club with no money and no ambition. End of story. Moaning about it won't change anything".
Yeah lets just give all those who are destroying Everton a free ride shall we? Bollocks to that Ben. What we actually need to start doing is moaning louder and louder, and you should be joining in.
Oh how Kenwright would love to have 40,000 Bens supporting Everton. Wouldn't we all just be one big, broke, going down, ambitionless, yet remarkably happy family! Fuck that!
"Brian, your misery and negativity can only be self-perpetuating and will never do anyone any good"
Really?
Because I suspect a few months back, if you'd have listened to the people of Cairo chatting in bars or online, they would have sounded VERY negative.
Did their negativity do them no good?
No...it actually led to the ousting of a shithouse dictator (what a coincidence!)
Fact is there are many who come on here spouting bollocks about anything 'negative' that appears and seem to think writing COYB is a legitimate response.
It isn't, it's naive, pointless and stupid.
I believe that ONLY some kind of pressure ('negativity') from supporters will force change at Everton.
The only questions are when, where and how?
Do you seriously believe that if we all traipse up to Goodison Park on Saturday with silly smiles of contentment on our gobs and a sort of hippyish "the world is a beautiful place" kind of attitude, and we actually go into the ground believing that our team can challenge for the Champions League, or even a top six place, I would say you are in serious danger of becoming dellusional.
Every Evertonian wants our team to do well, in fact to be the best, but we are nowhere near it mate.
I said on another post that the tactics of David Moyes: whether we have enough quality players or was the ref another twat in black. These topics are, in my opinion, secondary to an awful feelingb that I have, that the club is in meltdown. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, then Dave Prentice can include me with all the other nutters he has identified who dare to criticise just wher this bunch of charlatans are taking our club.
I'd love nothing better than to see us sweeping all before us but I believe that we have as much chance of that than me winning the pools.
We have skirted withy relegation in the last decade and, thank the gods, we have survived. But this isn't a question of just what type of football we produce. It's about the mismanagemnt of our club. Many of us are seriously worried what will happen.
For you to say that you are bored with the negativity, is niaive. We are worried about the future of our club. And in my humble opinion, we have every right to do so.
Err, yeah.
Yes Tank Man will probably never be found and the highly likelihood is that he may well have been identified and killed by Chinese authorities but the uprising did change China. I'll repeat: What exactly have you done?
Even if we beat Arsenal last night, we'd still only end up finish 9th at best....
Even if we'd beat Chelski the other day, remember City, The Mancs, Arsenal & Spurs are ALL still in the cup, so the likelihood of us winning that is VERY slim to say the least.
We'll get turned over on Saturday and knocked out of the cup and that'll be that until ANOTHER sparce pre-season.
Everton should refund season tickets when the season is over in Feb.
Fuckin twats.
Sick of it me and you're blue-eyed specs are TOTALLY distorting the true situation here.
However, it's all very well jumping up and down in an impotent rage screaming Kenwrong out, but if there's no-one there to replace him, nothing will be achieved ? and at the moment, there really does not seem to be anyone waiting in the wings.
To put it another way (to address those who will say the Bill slams the door on prospective buyers and hushes the rejection up with confidentiality agreements), how many prospective buyouts have we heard of in the last 5 or so years ? since the Gregg's got (rather unfairly, with the benefit of hindsight) run out of town? Not many? Any? And yet, we still got to hear of the Red Knights attempts to prize ManUre from the Glazers, and of all the machinations over the park during Waldorf and Statler's immensely enjoyable reign.
We do have to face the fact that there is currently nobody waiting to pick up the peices. That is the issue that needs to be addressed if you want a successful regime change ? it's called succession planning. Rather than concentrating on demonstrating to get someone out, we need to start demonstrating to get someone IN. We need to show potential buyers why they should be looking at our club. This is far more likely to achieve what you want than bouncing up and down in front of your keyboard all red in the face ? all THAT will do is raise your blood pressure. Unless someone can tell us that Lord Granty's waiting in the wings with his millions till Bill's gone?
Oh, and Ben does have a point ? to an extent, our football over 2/3rds of the pitch has improved over the last year or so, it's just a pity that my gran could probably get a game up front and do better (and she popped her clogs 10 years ago, god rest her soul). However, Davey needs to take a large proportion of the blame for getting into a winning position and then waiting to get beat ? if you've found a way of playing that get's you on top of the game, stick with it and win the game.
When was the last time you saw one of the 'big sides' go one up and then decide that they should park the bus and hope?
I think, reading between the lines that he hung himself just after midnight.
SO, we shall not hear from him again sadly ? fun while it lasted....
For Moyes to think that players like Bentley, Ohara, Sturridge, Curtis Davies etc. would not have strengthened the squad is ludicrous and can only confirm my belief that Moyes is only thinking about moving on and does not really care about how Everton fare this season.
This was summed up during the Arsenal game when he did not bring on Beckford after they went a goal behind. Where was the reasoning behind that negative decision?
Doubtful. Its pretty obvious that Moyes had to cut the wage bill by reducing the squad size. I'm sure he'd have loved to have signed some of these players.
"This was summed up during the Arsenal game when he did not bring on Beckford after they went a goal behind. Where was the reasoning behind that negative decision?"
Probably that Beckford is shit.
