84 Comments: I'm off to Germany Monday to watch our friendly against Werder Bremen. I'm going as I'm not sure when we will play European football again as the the way our club is run baffles me.
I don't want to post another entry about Kenwright etc as I'm unsure as to what is the best way forward for our club. I always have a go at BK and get fed up of no new players, merchandising, lack of communication with fans etc but then I look at other clubs which have been taken over and have nearly been ruined because if it... Portsmouth, Birmingham, Leeds etc, so I suppose I'm on the fence.
What I want to do is get a banner made for Germany which isn't a direct attack on Kenwright but more of "We want answers" kind of message which will hopefully get seen by BK and hopefully the media. Something a bit witty with a strong message.
Any suggestion???

You're right Michael, it was an insensitive remark. It was intended as a joke about the board, not the Norwegians, but it really was in poor taste. So I apologise.

Chris - well said - big of you to apologise - I live in a constituency were the MP used public money to clean out the moat at his property !!! Did the voters get any apology ? Not that I know of. As you guess I am an exiled Evertonian - the MP is a Tory - or was as he stood down.
My idea for a banner would include maybe a message to the effect any players they want to loan out !! Or on a political line " If only Obama was an Evertonian". That's basically cos his Election slogan was " Yes We Can". Mind you he has financial problems himself - so perhaps not !!

And not wishing to put the mockers on things re Jags - it seems to me that Arsenal have had months to sort out a) Fabregas' future b) Their Centre Back problems. They haven't done much yet - I wouldn't be too happy if I was a Gooner.
Back to the banner - I think the admission prices for the Bundesliga are much cheaper - so I would have something along the lines of " Can we have the same ticket prices as you". I have to admit I haven't checked Werder's prices but looking at Bayern, Schalke and Borussia Dortmund I think they have some cheaper tickets than the average Premier League prices - so I am assuming Werder are similar.
My local team is Lincoln City - their cheapest prices are £18- I haven't been in ages as I refuse to pay that amount. Rumour has it they will charge the same prices having been relegated from League Two ( Division 4 as I still like to call it)

I might suggest the "at least brick it back up" slogan thats been doing the rounds on Twitter, regarding the failed commercial building that has left a nice hole in our beloved wall.

Massive fan of toffeeweb although more importantly the views from the die-hard Evertonians. I check/read when I wake up, in the car, at work, at lunch, on the toilet, when the missus is talking to me, when Rugby Leagues on, the actual waiting period when Fifa 11 loads (Everton v who cares)!

I'd love to see almost all of these at a home game this season. The stewards would have a bloody hard time trying to get rid of 20 or so banners. The cameras couldn't avoid that many either.
