Inspired by Ben Howards efforts in "Everton to Finish 4th Shock", I've followed his lead with something to welcome our new arrivals from the terraces.

Here's my effort for Denis ? sung along to the tune of Barry Manilow's "Copacabana"...

"His name was Denis - Den Stracqualursi
He was signed by Davey Moyes, to play with the Everton boys
And when he finished, he never missed it
Cus Denis was a star, never hit above the bar
And when the punches flew. The Reds were smashed in two
There was just a single goal?
But just who? scored? it?

It was Denis (DEN!), Den Stracqualursi (STRACQUALURSI!)
The hottest shot north of the Mersey (here!)
And it?s Denis (DEN!), Den Stracqualursi
Footie and passion were always the fashion
At Goodison....they fell in love?.."

Way down the priority list - long-term deterioration of the club is far more important issue to tackle.....

Wrap some lyrics around Kenwright out......I'll sing for that

Hi Mark - excellent, were a bit thin on the ground here so another Blue to swell the numbers is great.

Love the sentiment but when did you last hear the crowd sing at Goodison? Think there may be a few expletives flying at the next match though. I like Gavin's efforts but think the metre's not quite right in line 4. Replace "no" with "f*ck all" and it sounds better! I'd be tempted!

Would love to hear that singing out from the terraces. It could happen if Moyes had the balls to play Billy behind the striker (maybe Denis?)
