Merry Christmas
44 Comments: Here we are once more... what a year: hopes fears, trials and tribulations, uncertainty prevails at Everton FC... In one hour Christmas here will be on us and it cheers me to have family and friends around to remind me that Christmas is a time for those we love.
So for all of you, your families and friends, Merry Christmas, to you all, those who post, who read, who love to argue. To Michael and Lyndon, Thank you for all your efforts.
To the team and club we love, good luck for the rest of the season, who knows Bill might get another train set for Christmas!
From me to each of you, a personal thank you for your support this year in what was for me a traumatic time. Battles are there to be won, but they are made easier when you have an army beside you.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas fellow ToffeeWebers. Let's hope we can have a strong second half to the season and mount a late challenge for Europe. Wait what am I doing??? I am being all optimistic and positive, this is not me... ahh well, it's Christmas after all. My New Year's resolution is to cut Moyes some slack, I hope Ian Tunstead reads this post.

Merry Christmas to Christine and her family. Also to Michael, Lyndon and all others at ToffeeWeb. Finally, to all Evertonians, young and old, all over the world.
It's not been an easy year by any stretch of imagination but, as we know from the past, that's part and parcel of being an Evertonian. I hope and pray that we get a few good loan deals and maybe bargain buys to help us down the stretch...Europa place and a good FA Cup run would be mind blowing. COYB

All the best to all blues over the festive season & for the new year. Just think, a hundred years ago Everton were riding high in the table, going on to finish second to Blackburn Rovers [if we had turned either of our defeats to them into victories we would have been Championms!], whilst RS finished 17th - I could do with history repeating itself!

And a happy and prosperous New Year to you all (even Turnstead); I have a feeling that this time next year we'll all be happier than many of us are right now. COYB

Jay # 12, hoping this is a watershed year was perhaps the wrong choice of words to offer Christine who hails from Queensland. Earlier this year she battled floods on an unbelievable scale and right now she is facing a record downpour for Christmas.
From the other side of this great continent in baking Western Australia where the sun is cracking the flags and two towels are required to hop from one to the other to cross the furnace hot sand only then to find you daren't hit the water because hungry sharks are cruising just off the beach.... I wish you all the very best, specially dear old Christine.

Sorry I pressed enter too quickly.
Can I also send special wishes of Thanks and support to Michael and Lyndon for the continued fantastic opportunity they provide for us to discuss all things Everton on this wonderful site.
We may all not agree all the time, but without Toffeeweb, we would not even begin to enjoy the debate.
Thanks guys.

Anyway 2:30 pm here in Bali, temp 33 deg C and the Turkey has about 4 hours to go before we can eat so let's hope it will be cooler then.

Harry # 28, You don't have to worry about Australian immigration rules. All that's needed is to hop on a boat, any kind will do, dump all identification papers overboard, head toward our shores and our navy will provide an escort for the rest of the trip.
Upon landing you will receive full board including meals suitable to your taste or religion. All modern amenities are provided plus internet access. To assist your claim for residency, legal aid is supplied. First class medical cover is on tap and get this, everything is free.
If you are not happy, all you need to do is burn the place down and it will be replaced by something more to your liking. On top of that, you will be paid the same amount and get the same benefits as Australian pensioners who have paid taxes all their working life.
Come one, come all... but don't tell that RS crowd.
