From My House

Having had numerous texts and calls telling me Toffeeweb was looking for me. I logged on and looked and saw.
I can tell you I am ok and have been really touched by comments left on Lyndon's piece.
I have been in hospital to have some bone replaced with metal and am now recuperating at home. I will miss the semi but I am in strict training to be able to go to the final. Of course we will get there. I am also trying to take up my seat for at least one or maybe two league games.
Once I master climbing the stairs there will no holding me.
Once again many thanks for your concern.
UP THE BLUES

Really glad to hear from you and to hear that you're on the mend, Ken. Rest up and hopefully the Blues will make that Final for you!
Glad to hear you're on the mend.
Let's hope the Mighty Blues cheer us all up on Saturday.
Good to hear you are on the mend, your reports are balanced and a pleasure to read (more so when we win).
Hope you are up and about soon.
Ken,
really sorry to hear you have some health problems and I hope you are on the mend.
I look forward to a "From My Seat" for the final.
My dear Ken, so very happy to hear from you.
Good luck and hold firm in your fitness regime.
Get well soon, Ken. I've really missed reading your great reports.
Good to hear you're on the mend, Ken, we have quite missed you down under!
Having faced health issues last year myself, it's important you take the time to get right and still support the blues!
Make a speedy recovery Ken get ok for the final!
Get well soon, Ken ? as an exiled blue, I can't get to the games... your report is always the one I look for to get a balanced view. I look forward to seeing them again soon!
Nice one Ken - they say laughter is the best medicine; here's hoping you're in bulk laughing after our defeat of Liverpool Saturday.

Get well soon Ken, you've been missed. And do enjoy the Final. Hope you have a good view of Pip raising the cup.
Best wishes and get well soon Ken.
I am a regular reader of Toffeeweb, although I rarely post.
But I am compelled to send you my well-wishes, Ken. Get well soon. It has been a pleasure to read your match reports.
A Singaporean Blue in Hong Kong
Best wishes Ken, and here's to a speedy recovery. Mind you don't trip on the coffee table on Saturday when we score !
Get well soon,, Ken, looking forward to hearing your report from the final when we beat Spurs.
Ken,
Great to hear from you, sorry to learn you have had some health issues and I hope you are back to your old self soon.
Living in Ottawa, I don't get to as many games as I used to, but your match reports are the ones I look forward to most.
Would be happy to read 'From my armchair' if you watch the games on telly :-)
Get well soon Ken..miss your post match peace..Cheers.
Good to hear from you Ken. Get well soon.
Get well soon, Ken. Miss your reports. Let's hope that we are all rejoicing come Saturday.
Great to hear you're on the mend Ken, let's hope the result on Saturday gives a boost to your recovery. Looking forward to future match reports.
Nice to hear from you, Ken, made up you're on the mend. I've been missing your match reports. Make sure you're at final to report on that. Take care, mate, and I hope to be able to read your reports soon.
COYB
Nice to hear that you are on the mend, pity about the semi, but as long as your fit for the final, I am sure Moyesie will keep you in mind.
Enjoy the game on the box
COYB
Glad to hear you're ok Ken. Hopefully the blues will win on Saturday and help speed up your recovery.
Glad to hear that you are okay, Ken.
Really missed your match reports, as a Blue who can only afford to attend 1 or 2 matches a season, your reports are a godsend as reading them makes you feel as if you were there and are recalling what happend. The best match reports I have read. I'm really surprised that a newspaper hasn't signed you up as your reports are far superior than what they print.
God speed your recovery and all the best.
It great to hear you're okay, Ken, and glad you're on your way back.
I wish the speediest of recoveries to one of ToffeeWeb's own Felliani: an integral link to the complete chain.
Ken - welcome back, good to hear that you are on the mend, was beginning to think maybe I should step in from behind my couch again. :)
When I read your piece about metal replacing bone, my immediate thoughts were, "if it was good enough for our Dixie, then it's certainly good enough for our Ken - from his seat!"
All the best mate, and give the blues a good screaming at from me when you get to Wembley (the second time).
Get well soon Ken. See you at the final!
And Ken remember when leaping for joy on saturday; one-legged please.
There's only one Ken Buckley, one Ken Buuuuuuckley, there's only one Ken Buuuckley. One Ken Buckley!
There's only one Ken Buckley, one Ken Buuuckley. There's only one Ken Buckley.
Welcome to Vipbox on matchday Ken. It will drive you mad.
Delighted you are ok Ken. I hope all that mends quickly and well. Looking forward to your next report from your seat at the final...
Great to hear from you Ken! Hope everything gets better quickly. I want to see a Ken Buckley match report about Everton lifting the cup.
Tony l'Anson - all that chanting - are you at Wembley already?
Good news Ken. Look after yourself.
Bone now replaced by metal. I am sure it will make your strikes even more hard-hitting.
Didn't Dixie have metal inserted in his head after his motorbike car crash, and wasn't he the better player for it?
Glad to hear you're ok Ken. As others have mentioned, we look forward to your match reports, and I look forward to the return of "From My Seat" as "From My House" or "From Ward 3C" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
Sorry to hear you haven't been well, Ken. I had been wondering what had happened to you. Hope you are now on the mend. As a blue that isn't able to get to as many games as I'd like, your posts are a God-send. They are always my first port of call and I would be (have been) lost without them. I hope you realise how much your brilliant and incisive reviews and views are appreciated. I've often thought they deserve a wider audience. Much better than the inane drivel the professional media offer. A true blue hero. Well done and keep it up! I suppose we will both be watching on the box on Saturday, but I hope we'll still have the benefit of your words of wisdom afterwards. Get well soon. COYB!
All the best Ken, Keep on Keeping on!!
Get well soon.
Good news Ken, I think a few were sweating.
By the way, my granddad had his spine shot away in Normandy and replaced with a mercury compound and he lived until he was 93.
Only problem was in the summer he was 7 foot 6 and in the winter he was 3 foot 4.
Hope you"re up and and about for the final.
How do I leave a message on "Lyndon's Piece"
Is Lyndon's old chap to replace the mailbag?
Cue joke.. I've got a tattoo on my penis that says "Ok"... When I'm excited it says "Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA"
Get well soon Ken.
Injured eh ken?
I blame Finch Farm :)
Get well soon Ken your considerate reports, honesty and devotion to the cause is amazing.
You're a true blue and IMO the real barometer of match going fans not the rantings of hotheads like me.
Good luck Ken.
Happy to hear that you are on the mend. By the way, whilst you have been off (away) we started playing some footy!!! You might not recognise us, but we will wear blue at home just for you Ken!!
So glad you're ok Ken. Your match reports are by far and away the best read here on Toffeeweb.
Really good to hear you are on the mend...... I was even thinking you'd given us up for Lent!
Get well soon and let us all hope you'll be writing. a " From my seat" from the Charity Shield in August.
Get well soon Ken. Hope your back reporting soon. We need you to describe Hibbo's goal.
Hang in there, Ken... get "match fit" soon!
Ken, At last, a thread on here that every single person agrees with and holds the same view. Get well soon.
Just for a bit of controversy though, from what I read it is a leg injury you are carrying (ref: getting up the stairs) so how about a "From my house" for the semi? No doubt it will be more balanced than the tales I tell when I get back.
Top man Ken and Best of wishes.
Ian
Ken, I blame Osman & Hibbert!
Seriously - hope you make a speedy recovery intime for the Final v Spurs!!
A bionic Ken Buckley - is right.
Glad to hear you're well, Ken, you've been missed.
Very best wishes from South Africa, and looking forward to once again reading your balanced and considered reports very soon.
Ian Smitham-great idea for a 'From my House' by Ken. Come on Ken, make the fans happy!
get well soon.
Miss your reports Ken, Get well soon :-)
Great to hear you're OK Ken and hopefully on the mend soon.
Look forward to seeing your match report of our magnificent Wembley triumph in a few weeks time!
Ken, will you see the match live on telly, or will you have to suffer the Internet like most of us each week. Luckily it is on Fox Soccer Channel live here in Houston, but at 06:30. Having thought about it, hope the missus doesn't expect me to do anything as I could well be excessively "Stella Artois'd" by 08 dubs!
Get well soon Ken, I will look forward to your next post......
Great to hear from you Ken... Get well soon... Can't wait to read your next report.
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Ken.
Just to add my get well soon Ken, hope you're on the mend......Will you be watching the semi or can your health stand it!!
So refreshing to see a Toffeeweb article where everyone is in agreement!
Get well soon Ken!! COYB!
Nice to hear that you are on the mend, Ken I have missed reading you well balanced match reports.
Here is to a fast and complete recovery, wishing you all the best from a blue down under.
Cheers
Hope you are back on your feet soon Ken.
All the best from a Sydney Blue. Enjoy reading your reports on the game.
Get well soon Ken. You are essential reading particularly for us overseas Blues.
Missing your reports but glad to hear all is well!
I'm sure you will test your mobility when we win on Saturday night. Got a mental picture of you running up and down your stairs after Jelavic scores his third.
Get well Ken.
I hope once your transition to a part-man part-machine cyborg super soldier is complete, that your love of the Blues will still be intact..... :)
I hope you're up and at them soonest, Ken! I'm looking forward to your next report.
All the best from a Toronto-based blue!
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Really miss your match reports. Appointment reading, as the saying goes. When you're on the other side of the world, it is nice to read what someone who is there thinks and get a bit of a feel for the atmosphere around the ground.
Only a few more sleeps and then we get to hammer the reds! Wahoo!!!
Ken - I've really missed your reports and thanks to Lyndon for voicing our concerns. Whilst we have all enjoyed an upswing in the team's performance I have still found myself thinking 'but what would Ken's reports say?'
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Ken will be like a new signing! Get well Ken, missing your reports! Up the blues.
Get well Ken. I am looking forward to reading your article when we lift the trophy. COYBQ
Hey Ken
BTW, what have you done with your Semi Final Ticket..... joke....no seriously ...what have you done with it...
Get well soon sir...enjoy the game with your feet up in the pub for once.
Get well soon Ken and I look forward to reading your report on our victory in the final.
Like everyone else before me, glad you're on the mend too Ken.
If you're up to it how about a "From my comfy seat" for the semi-final - just so you don't lose your enigmatic touch.
COYKB
I don't want to sound too dramatic but that news has made my day!!
Great to hear from you Ken. Sorry to hear about your health concerns but hope the Op went well and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Agree with Alan above that you should do a; From my Armchair report on the Semi!!
All the best.
COYB!
Just more good wishes for a speedy recovery. You are missed!
Good to hear your well Ken. Here's to a speedy recovery.
All the very best Ken. Missed your reports. Get well and enjoy the final.
I like this thread.
Chin up, Ken.
Glad to hear you are ok Ken. Some real concern here from folks who have enjoyed your MR over the years.
Be well.
Great to hear you are ok Ken. Knew your absence would be either through ill health or you had 'done a Marshy'. As perverse as it sounds, yours was the better option, just so long as you make a speedy recovery. Look forward to hearing from you again at soonest opportunity.
Keep up the great work.
Sorry to learn of your problem Ken but thankfully you are on the mend and with a perfect tonic on Saturday hopefully a very speedy recovery.
Best wishes

Get well soon Ken. We miss you.
They took a little bit of bone out of Ossie and he came back better than ever.
COYB
Hi Ken, good to hear you are recuperating! Really missed your journalistic panache! Best wishes.
Ken,
Get well soon, I too have had bone replaced by metal and it's a pain in the arse.
Make sure you delegate someone to go done the offie on Saturday afternoon to celebrate.
I can't believe that only one person's asked after your semi ticket!
Good to hear your ok Ken........lets hope the BLUES help speed your recovery..........COYB
