Okay, I know this topic has been done before... but on Sunday it showed more than ever that if we could attack from both flanks we are a very tasty team.

Against Man Utd, Tony Hibbert produced a master class of crossing which earned us two vital goals against the Champions; however, for me, it was a bit of a one-off.

We all know we need a genuine right winger and a pacey right back; if we can keep the core of this team in the summer and add a new dimesion to the right wing would could be in for a good season, so who's out there? On the cheap, of course:

1. Zaha from Crystal Palace ? young fast full of tricks.

2. Hoillet ? another young lad with pace to burn.

3. Scott Sinclair ? bag of tricks with pace.

4. Jarvis ? not the best but could be the cheapest good work rate decent cross.

5. Landon Donovan ? although I didn't want to put landon in due to his age (or his sell on value) he is quality and loves the club.

Any thoughts? Who would your top 5 be for our right-hand side problems?

Hoilett, and not seen him play but hear a few positives about young Clyne, the right back from Crystal Palace. Could be affordable.

We couldn't afford Zaha or Sinclair, they will be about £8 - 10 mil. Crystal Palace turned down an £8 mil bid for Zaha in the summer.

Hoilett is on a free, but will have Arsenal, Newcastle, Totenham and Liverpool after him. The chances of him coming to us, when we can't afford to pay him as much as the others and aren't in Europe, are slim.

Jarvis, we could possibly afford and last season I thought he looked good. Less so this season. Certainly isn't as good as Pienaar and if it was a choice between the two I would go for Pienaar.

Donavon, would be too expensive for what we'd get at this stage in his career.

I do agree that are priority should be a winger. Unfortunately, anyone who is good enough to improve us is out of our price range.

Hoilett will be one of the hottest propertys in summer. So doubt we would get him. Though would love it if we did.

I think Jarvis is decent but not sure he would be available in a price that suited us.

Priority for me is selling some of the older guard while they are still saleable(Cahill, Neville, Jags) and getting Pienaar, RB in (James is right that nothing but positives coming out of palace re Clyne)

Re Clyne - my lads watch a fair bit of Palace. He was excellent last year, looked pretty ok in the first half of this season and then faded badly. Another season in the Championship would do him a lot of good but as his contract ends this term then that won't happen.
As for Zaha, he looks really good but has a habit of picking up cards, which is probably more down to the standard of Championship refs than the man himself. He'd certainly divide Toffeeweb - lots of skill and moments of inspiration mixed in with his fair share of wrong calls. Like Clyne, he needs another season in the lower tier. If Palace are shrewd, they'll bank on him having another good season and up the price.

If he can persuade Moyes for the good then we already have someone better than all of those players at the club and on a free.

Think that ship has sailed Nick.

Hoilett would be immense but will go to a richer club (whoever say money doesn't matter?!)

Zaha and Sinclair will cost more than we have.

Jarvis might be an interesting option and is younger than Pienaar.

Clyne is another one who i suspect will end up at a richer club, probably sunderland or Newcastle.

The sad truth is that we can't really more than half the premiership in terms of wages. In fact i'd say the following clubs would have more chances of signing juicy free transfers than us

Liverpool
Tottenham
Newcastle
Sunderland
QPR
Stoke
Possibly even Villa and West Ham if they come up..
