New Kits?
83 Comments: First | Last
I'm not saying that these are the new EFC kits but I found them on Twitter!
Would love the away shirt, Phil Neville did say his favourite was the away shirt and he is fond of orange (fake tan and highlights).
Not overly happy with the third shirt but pointless anyway when we have a blue kit and an orange kit!
Update: A reader has confirmed that these are a fantasy kit design. Scroll the comments section for more alternatives culled from Twitter ? Ed

You could be right, Andrew. Those are the most authentic-looking images I've seen. I actually like the third shirt — I'm a fan of the neutral-colour alternatives like black, white and grey.
The home jersey's amber trim makes it too much like this year's for my liking but at least it's 99% blue with no over-the-top white flashes and panels!
Isn't the home shirt, this seasons with a nike badge on it?
Pretty much Allan! I will be dissappointed if the Away and 3rd kits have round neck collars as depicted instead of the much nicey looking 'grandad' type collar on the Home strip.
Liking the away kit there. Personally I prefer the rounded collar rather than what we have on the home shirt this year.
I think they are all pretty smart. Not sure about the white shorts with the away kit, that wouldnt make sense. I think by the looks of them they look like the most convincing images of any that are floating around the web. However there probably will be a few tweaks to them!
The white shorts just don't look right with the orange shirt.
Meant to say, maybe the shorts would look better blue.
Dont look to bad but dont think i will be getting one. Unless it,s that stuff that hides your beer belly..
Orange away kit??? Are we hoping to have the same impact as Newcastle have had this season??
...can't be 100% right - as our home colour socks are white not blue (were not birmingham ffs!!)...also the away shorts will surely be blue or amber and not the same as the home shorts...but all in all, not looking too bad~!
Well, Nike certainly earning their money then. For the home shirt they've simply cut the collar of this years, for the third shirt they've just added a blue round neck instead of the current button up, and for the away shirt they've skinned fucking Lion O from Thundercats.
Shirts need a collar. Bring back the collar. Kids will no longer copy Cantona so its safe to bring it back.
That away kit is disgusting. No everton side should be playing in Orange end of.
Style wise the retro kits are so much nicer than all the rubbish that is churned out these days. I'll be still keeping my hafnia
James, we were playing in bright pink not too long ago. Orange is a blessing.
And its better than that awful mustard colour of this years away kit too.
Is that a hint of red I see on the home kit Chang logo!?
Yeah, those retro kits, salmon and blue stripes, vomit.
These kits are obviously snide. I'd hazard a guess that the home shirt will follow the Brazil template with a large white trim on the sleeve.
James Stewart@ Amber was Evertons away kit colour way back in the 60s and 70s..How much more Retro could you want?.Anything is better than LCSPORTIF shite we have been wearing..Maybe now kids will want to buy the kit..Nike is Trendy
Yeah these are fake, the Chang logo's don't follow the contours of the shirt - it looks flat.

Looks like just another fan mock-up to me, nothing to see here. I'd be sorely disappointed if Nike were simply going to stick their logo on top of the Le Coq kits...
Would love a pure white kit to be honest..i liked the everton away top of years gone by think it was the white an grey strips when we were sponsered by nec
League wont allow 2nd , too much blue, will clash with opposition blue
Is it just me or does anyone also detest us wearing blue socks - aka Ipswich, Leicester, Peterboro' for God's sake. What's worse is a 'change occurs' around a table when talking 'kit contracts' and some twat representing us opts to 'go with' blue. We were white for a couple of seasons -tidy- and then blue this season. It would be inconceivable to play in White shirts/Blue shorts etc., wouldn't it? Am I on my own with the socks thing? Can someone tell me? Ta.

I'm with ya brother it is a crime against nature.
WHITE SOCKS PLEASE.
Nice outfits. I like them.
Yes, exactly. WHITE SOCKS please. We're Everton!
Yeah agreed white socks.
Have we ever had a orange away kit?
Of course I know it's all about money but why the hell do we have to have a different kit - 3 sets no less - every season. It's bloody ridiculous and must cost parents a fortune. Thankfully my kids are now adult............and can buy their own if so inclined.
Our socks should be white. I know historically they haven't always been, but so what, they usually have been, its more unique and it looks better.
I agree that these look fake though, although they may be the 'real' fakes (ie. they will be our kit but only exist as a computer mock up at the moment).
I also agree that white socks on the orange kit looks weird, they should be blue.
Also, where's the neon hot pink away kit Nike?
Like orange, don't like asymmetry in a kit. Never have, never will so will avoid. Home kit close enough the same as this season - so why bother getting a new un?
White socks please. I reckon my favourite kit was 1982 season.
Another call from me for White Socks.
This is the real deal
It could be Orange but it could also be construed as Amber...in which case....if it is Amber, we've played in Amber away shirts before....most notably in our championship year of '69/70.
We've never had a sexy blue slash over the shoulder before though.
Whooooooooh!
I don't think so. Poor photoshop effort. They wouldn't have the 3rd kit practically the same as the current one, there is no motif on the socks, and since when did everton have an orange away kit?

Don't really like orange kits. Home kit and second away look ok if they weren't so similar to this season's. All in all, nothing to exciting, a perfect fit for next season if they were real which I don't think they are.
I've allways liked the white kits and amber ones, particularly the amber kit from the sixties that you see pictures of Allan Ball in and the Puma kit Rooney was playing in when Big Dunc started practising ventriloquism.
If it was me,the home socks wouls be white with a blue sash at the top, white shorts with thin blue sash down the sides and blue top with white around the collar if there is one.Away kit would be all black.
Our recent performance at Old Trafford reminded me how much I dislike our playing in all blue. Of course, our hosts that day would never be seen in all red! Perhaps we should take a leaf out of their book & use black shorts in such circumstances instead - nobody else seems to do it.
That orange one is hideous, hope it's not gonna be like that. Our away kits are always rubbish, pisses me off. Give us some style and a colour that doesn't make me wanna puke.
Soddin kids today - bah!
Bring back the black with a ruby sash - c'mon you Black Watch
I've thought for a while our away kit should be the Black Watch, cant get more traditional than out first ever colours.
Got to say as soon as I heard it was being made by Nike i was more than happy.
Which kid doesnt want some Nike gear? For once Everton I now applaud you!!
I like the collar, but the sleeves shriek 'Primark sale'
If only they could replace that Chang motif with 'Guiness'....now that would be better....!
A tweet from The People's Blog claims that Sylvain Distin has confirmed the second kit posted (#748 above, which has pixellation around the badges/logos that, to me, suggests manipulation) is real.
He doesn't really but
for what it's worth:
I like the greyish kit, but the orange kit is minging.
Would be grand kits without that stupid bit on the sleeve. Will still let herself buy one for my birthday though
Never liked the orange/amber permutations, if we're going to persist in orange then make the shorts orange as well with WHITE SOCKS, ALWAYS WHITE SOCKS.
All white socks. And, of course, white boots.
Everton wear white socks ..... It's the law! And while we are about it, am I the only one who hates the almost invisible blue goal nets at Goodison? White nets too!
Those second pictures look more like Nike kits. At first glance the band around the arm looks way too big but then again it's different because of it.
Aaaaand two more to further the case for those bloody awful white-banded sleeves:

Karl, nevermind the nets just some blue gravel,we have had that faded shit for years, I mean two of those big fuck off bags from Beesley and fildes should do it,I cringe when I see that faded shit every first home game of the season.
Are any of these the real kit?
I agree with that Paul. While we are on the subject of Goodison irritations, why is the crowd behind the Street End goal much closer to the pitch than at the Park End? You want the crowd as close as possible surely? There are some right Berkshire running our Club. . . .these little things all makes difference!
Those sleeves are shocking.
White socks please. I loved the socks from the 84 kit with the blue hoops, smart.
At last we have pictures.. I revealed back last July to TW that we had the Brazil kit in blue with white sleeves. My mate who works for Nike kit design spilled... Hope it inspires Moyes to unlock the shackles and play like Brazil!
My favourite sock thread - this is a winner!
My own preference is the '95 black blue hooped socks. We won the cup in them, and they made us look a bit mean... Which we were.
Not too fussed what kit we have as long as nike are doing it for us! Lets be extra nice to them so they stick around and hopefully bring extra revenue in to the club!
Think the orange away kit is a bit extreme but I will probably buy it cos the home kits tend to look a bit "samey".
Regarding socks - white with blue hoops were the best!
The ones on the OP are good gear. The orange away kit is smart. Nice change.
The subsequent ones coming through with the white sleeves would look good on some players (ie. those with serious upper arms), but would look pretty silly on the likes of Hibbo and Neville.
"We are the Walton White Socks..."
The OP is someone's fantasy kit. Here's the original post:
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/fantasy-kit-design/fantasy-kit-design/everton-fantasy-2012-2013-kits-17802.html
Howard wears jungle green camouflage why not desert camouflage for the rest of em away from home.
Then change the motto to who dares wins.
Dick that motto would conflict with Moyes's who dares gets beat motto
Thanks to all for your support on the white socks I don't feel so alone now. Thanks 'brother' Rathbone white socks = elementary Barry, sorry couldn't resist.
Blue/White/White. No question.
Butterscotch angel delight anyone?
Thanks, Ste. I've updated the original post accordingly.
And for you sock aficionados, there's a "white or blue" poll running on the homepage!
Anything that dosent show my sweaty pits and belly will do just fine !
None of the tight fitting 'kappa wales kit' / rugby beefcake shite please !!
Oh, and any chance of a croatia shirt thats blue & white for the summer ???
White socks every time, with them we've got the best kit in football.
White socks.
And blue gravel round the pitch. If Barca can have a blue zone around their pitch, so can we.
I've just googled pics of Young, Vernon and Ball and found all white socks for Ball (69-70), and both white with blue turn over and blue with white turn over (1League title and an FA Cup win ) for the other 2 players... so obviously it is not, nor never has been, a tradition set in stone. The socks turned to all white at the start of the 67-68 season.
But a poll??? I ask you, hardly earth shattering.
How about one for tapping the boiled egg with a spoon, then lifting the top off with the spoon Vs Top straight off with knife...It was good enough for Johnathan Swift and Gulliver.
Karl Masters (791)
It's a hangover from the dart-throwing days - the powers-that-be got the wrong end - literally
The Orange away kit is just this season's QPR away kit with a Nike tick instead of their LOTTO logo and an Everton badge. Very lazy.
Can't afford blue dye for the sleeves?
It looks.. different. Otherwise it'll look too close to the Stephen Hughes Umbro kit. I hope they don't extend those white sleeves all the way down on the long sleeve kit.
I like 3/4ish length sleeves, I also like that band. I was skeptical of this contract because of the template Nike kits that get overused. But, I think the sleeves make the blue even more significant, especially with more white involved in the kit. Clean.
Annual reminder time:
http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Everton/Everton.htm
Looking at our history as a whole, rather than just the bits we remember of it, we?ve actually worn dark socks more than chavtastic white ones.
As for that newer new kit, it?s a bit crap really... and if there?s going to be a long sleeved version, it?ll be one of the worst shirts ever worn in English football.
If it makes anyone feel better, Brazil's away kit follows our template, but with yellow sleeves.
The three tops at the top of the page are a fantasy football shirt design from football shirt culture website so I can 100% guarantee they are not real. I saw these months ago on the website and they didn't hide the fact they were just designs for fun
Could it be that he love of white socks = the average age of most readers = coincides with the white sock period =self fulfilling prophesy
The Badge; On the one side a gold star, vertically underneath it ( in smallish but visible letters ) F.M.F.L, Founder Member Football League.
On the other side, a golden star and vertically under, F.M.P.L. Founder Mmember Premier League.
Not many can put that on the shirt, especially the rich 4, 5, 6 or however many there are now.
