You think Hull, Pompey and WHU are EPL clubs shane?
Didn't Hull go down over two seasons ago?
1. How recent are these figures
2. Do they take into account the entire squad numbers e.g. do these averages include all 'kids' signed on professional cottracts, or just the 'top 15 best paid players; for example?
3. I'm assuming the figures are in U.S. dollars, and not them silly AUS dollars ;)
Given Portsmouth's inclusion it must be at least 3 years old?
Is this a comprehensive list? Or just a sample? Not one French club mentioned as far as I can see.
Three (?) years ago we seem to have been just outside of the top 3rd of EPL wage payers. I find that surprising given our poverty.
How do you use the font? Sometimes I'd like to 'italic' or 'bold' but I don't seem to get/have that facility on TW.
Or are you on about summat else.
Silly me if you are!
I thought football was all about money, full stop, close book end of story.
"who are those guys?"
Anyway, back to the Premiership, I see the billionaires are at the top again... and with Chelsea's revival the top four will probably look to be same again come the end of season.
So a great season by one of 'the rest' is only as good as a really bad one from those with the money.
Any ideas?
Barry, football may not be ALL about money, but only an idiot would think it doesn't make a massive, massive difference.
Scary stuff !

I was not making any kind of point though I thought it may be of interest.
Here is the address.

Old Evertonian, Stuart McCall has tonight nearly got Motherwell into the Champions League...
The mind boggles...
Leave our mighty Aussie dollar out of it.
The only 'western' country to come out of the meltdown with full employment.
I'd copy and paste it for you but i'm on a shitty Nokia phone and i don't know how to.
Here is the link Jamie, and this report was only produced yesterday!
I find where Villa are quite remarkable
